Came here based on a friend’s recommendation and so happy that we did! The host was charming and hospitable, the food was amazing and service was great.

What an unexpected surprise. Seriously please don’t walk by this charming family owned restaurant. The place is full of history, where the famous have dined. But other that it’s really a Roman treasure. The food was delicious and the atmosphere just quaint and special. I had the veal and it was so tender like it should be. The ciao de Pepe was so so tasty. The family whom owns it is at the next table sending us limoncello. LOVE this restaurant. We have had several meals over several vacations in Rome and have to rate this in the top three.

Found by chance. Family atmosphere and very welcoming. The dishes were truly delicious and in quantity. Very friendly service and very generous with quantities. Free glass of wine as well as the cheese plate. The best restaurant of our stay.

One of the best dining experiences I’ve had in Rome. The staff was incredibly friendly and their recommendations were excellent. I had the lamb which was easily the best lamb I’ve ever had. Can’t recommend it enough. I will be returning!

We happened upon it by chance for lunch, there were only us in the whole place, an amazing experience, a beautiful place furnished with taste, also equipped with a tavern, a particular and evocative environment, the owner was very friendly and helpful, he gave us excellent advice . excellent food.

Vera osteria romana. Si mangia sia carne che pesce, io ho preso i tagliolini ai carciofi ed erano buonissimi. Cameriere veramente gentilissimo che mi ha subito portato un flute di prosecco e una bruschetta. Dopo la cena mi ha fatto vedere le cantine: spettacolari. Anche i signori alla cassa sono stati deliziosi, hanno insistito x offrire un digestivo. Prezzo onesto. Assolutamente da provare

Cucina romana tradizionale, preparata con cura. Personale gentile, frequentazione anche di locali ( non solo i soliti turisti), carta dei vini ristretta, ma buona, ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo.

07/04/2024: We were last night...very satisfied...very beautiful and comfortable surroundings...we ate fish based...everything was excellent and fresh and the dishes were plentiful with excellent wine...super sweet.....the cooked apple in crust It's a must try..very friendly staff..congratulations..
05/04/2024: On Easter day, a little crowded with service with obvious difficulties. However, the outdoor accommodation is very comfortable in the sun.
