01/04/2025: Encontré esta trattoria caminando al azar. Mucho más grande de lo que parece desde fuera. Lo primero que ves al entrar es el enorme horno de leña, luego notas el olor a pan fresco y carnes asadas. Estoy babeando mientras escribo esto. La primera vez que fuimos comimos la carbonara ('spaggo carbo' como dijo el camarero) ensalada y tiramisú, copa de vermentino. Excelente, y no caro. La segunda vez que fuimos, no tenían mesa disponible, inevitable con buenos restaurantes. La tercera vez, tuvimos carbonara de nuevo (mi paso - hijo) y yo tuve la papardela con ragu de venado. Golpeando. Frente a nosotros estaba la enorme mesa con la pata de jamón serano y todos los vinos locales. Dueño manejando el horno de leña, su esposa en la cocina, sus hijos esperando. El lugar estaba zumbando y no me sorprende. La mejor comida que he probado en Roma.

28/04/2025: Good pizza but I was expecting something of higher quality. The place is very nice but too noisy. I recommend using sound-absorbing panels if necessary. Good service but a little insistent on the choice and then at the end of the meal.

27/04/2025: I had dinner in this really beautiful, welcoming place with tasty food and very digestible pizzas!! I recommend anyone to go there especially if you book on a spring evening as the tables outside enjoy an atmosphere of lights and the scent of flowers🥰

08/04/2025: Good sushi, very fresh and very particular. There are many varieties of dishes and this is one of its strong points, I was there for lunch and I was satisfied to see that unlike many restaurants it had all those dishes. The staff is also excellent and the environment is very nice

25/03/2025: I ate their sushi after a long time. I was a customer, I wanted to come back for lunch with other people. The situation has really gotten worse. For goodness sake. INFINITE wait to have the food ordered. INFINITE TIME. SLOW is an understatement. Among other things there is not a waiter who speaks Italian. Even asking how it happened to me, a knife to an Asian girl and he brought me a spoon. I ask for the dishes I had ordered because they had not arrived yet to a waiter and this one since he did not understand anything of what I asked him because he does not speak Italian, he pretends nothing and leaves. I see that he goes to call another colleague of his who also speaks little and bad Italian. A table arrives after us that was in front of me and, so I could see, that it was served immediately with the things ordered. There is a lot but a lot of confusion and above all it takes you badly that no one speaks Italian and if you have to try to explain something it is difficult. It really puts you off. Avoid. I will not return.

29/03/2025: I went to dinner for the first time last Thursday with some friends and I discovered a great atmosphere, exceptional service and excellent food! I highly recommend it and I will be back soon

15/03/2025: Very well kept place. Friendly, friendly and helpful staff. We ate very well and the waiting times were also very satisfactory, from the starter to the dessert. Special mention for the spaghettoni with three cherry tomatoes, mouth-watering. Worth trying again to taste other delights.

23/03/2025: My partner and I come here almost regularly, and it has never left us hungry or disappointed. Simple, genuine and local dishes, prepared with care. Like grandma's cooking, but with that extra touch.

20/03/2025: Historic trattoria in Montecompatri, everything delicious, excellent quality/price, reminiscent of Sundays at grandma's, even better. The rolls are spectacular, not to mention the sour cherry tart, but everything else is delicious too.

01/11/2024: It was 8pm in the evening, I was desperately looking for a cake for my mother and now without hope I came across this dessert workshop with many types of cakes and mignon We had the AMAZING decomposed cannoli cake, there was no shortage of compliments from all the guests Well done

20/04/2025: nice local vibe bistrot, pizza would be nice i guess, unfortunately i had riso com crema de scampi which was ok but not superior, lasagna and pasta ragu wasn’t available and the service forgot what i ordered so i didn’t got the fried pumpkin flower. Price is really cheap and red house wine was really good

29/11/2024: La cremosità di questi gelati mi conquista ogni giorno di più. Amo le frutte e questi ragazzi hanno un'abilità e fantasia a proporre gusti di stagione con riusciti abbinamenti che mi spinge a tornare guidato dalla curiosità e dalla voglia di un'altra esperienza di gusto. Ricordo l'aloe, e gli spicchi di mela croccante o il lime, delicato e non invadente come e' ormai prassi nei mille mojiti omologati. Bravi!

30/04/2025: Eravamo già stati all'Hostaria Antica Roma altre volte, cercando di privilegiare quelle occasioni, davvero speciali, in cui il già ricco menu si arricchisce di più piatti ispirati alla Roma antica. Per il pranzo di Pasquetta però si sono proprio superati! Prezzo contenuto, antipasti da leccarsi i baffi, qualche bella sorpresa anche tra le portate principali.... su tutte "Isicia Omentata" (ovvero polpette di maiale in salsa d’uva), una bontà che io e la mia compagna abbiamo gustato per la prima volta. Speriamo trovi sempre più spazio in menu, anche al di fuori dei pranzi o cene speciali e delle giornate di festa!

28/04/2025: Insieme alla mia famiglia abbiamo deciso di consumare il pranzo pasquale in questo pittoresco ristorante che ci ha permesso di ritornare con la memoria all’epoca di Apicio e Columella e ai loro sapori. Paolo, che si adopera per mantenere in vita ciò che i nostri padri sperimentarono, ci ha dato a conoscere antiche ricetta come la Tiropatina, l’antenato del nostro crème caramel, di cui ne andavano ghiotti gli antichi Romani. Locus Amoenus imperdibile, cosi come il suo genius loci, il Magnus Paulus!
