Pelagus In Pomezia

Last Sunday, we celebrated my daughter's First Communion here at Pelagus. We had a complete seafood menu, simply EXQUISITE. A little treat from the chef, before the cake, was his delight with small pastries and desserts... AMAZING... Thanks to Ivan, Fabrizio, and the entire staff. They were impeccable, always available, and patient, especially patient (we left very calmly). We'll definitely be back, as we have been for years. Thanks guys, BRAVI.

I went there on Sunday for a birthday celebration. The place is small but cute. The menu is mostly seafood, but there are also good alternatives. In my case, since I'm not a fish fan, my appetizer consisted of mixed fried vegetables, salami, prosciutto, cheese, and two types of bruschetta (one with tomato sauce and the other with burrata and chopped pistachios). Everything was truly excellent. For my first course, I had tagliatelle with meat sauce (also excellent); the portion was really generous, but I ate it all. Since I was already full, I decided not to order the main course (meat) and go straight to dessert. There are also various dessert options: lemon sorbet, panna cotta, crème caramel, a slice of apple pie with cream and cinnamon, and a slice of cake with white chocolate cream and cherries (all strictly homemade). I chose the crème caramel and didn't regret it at all (in fact, I would have ordered another one, it was so good; I highly recommend it). The service was attentive and attentive. If I have the chance I will go back.
