Pelagus In Pomezia

Nice location, but a little neglected. We had lunch on Easter day with a fixed menu and good food.

Welcoming environment, very good food, courteous and discreet service, it felt like I was at home. Excellent and reasonable prices. I recommend it much more in the summer period.

We had lunch on Sunday in this very nice restaurant with a beautiful outdoor location in the warm sun of Torvaianica. The cannelloni stuffed with amberjack and the Paccheri with grouper and tomato were excellent. The spaghetti a bongo with bottarga is also excellent, the baked sea bream is delicious and the seafood appetizers are nice. A good choice of wines, kind and attentive staff recommended.

Welcoming and refined environment, trained and competent staff, worthy of a cuisine of the highest level. Everything that goes from the stove to the table always has an edge, both in flavor and originality. Ancient flavors and genuine products worked with passion and dedication by the Chef who, from behind the scenes, expertly "constructs" the requested dish. A huge thank you to all the staff!

sono stato per la prima volta a san valentino per provare questo ristorante, ho apprezzato la location molto carina con una buona dislocazione dei tavoli e un bello stile dell'arredamento, personale e titolari molto cordiali e giovanili. la cucina è espressa ma senza attese troppo lunghe tra una portata e l'altra, buon rapporto qualità/prezzo. queste le luci, ora veniamo alle ombre: gli antipasti giusti come quantità e varietà ma decisamente un pò troppo speziati (il sapore del pesce è risultato a mio parere coperto dalle spezie utilizzate); come primo ho preso uno spaghetto alle vongole che sinceramente sembrava uno spaghetto aglio, olio poichè il sapore delle vongole era del tutto assente; il dolce niente di che; per finire, è vero che per avere una cucina più raffinata occorre gestire non troppe pietanze e dare pochi piatti come scelta nel menù, però questi piatti non dovrebbero essere solo particolari ma almeno qualcosa di tradizionale (tipo un tonnarello allo scoglio o una grigliata mista) dovrebbero esserci e comunque prevedere qualche eccezione all'occorrenza (tipo un fuori menù). ho alcuni dubbi se tornarci o meno per via della troppa rigidità nella scelta dei piatti e del tipo di cucina che tende o a coprire o a non far sentire del tutto il sapore del pesce.

We ordered their aperitif, €12 with drink and 6 fish delicacies. Really excellent value for money, friendly and welcoming service. Next time we'll stop for dinner too!
