13/03/2025: Everything is very clean and well maintained. Food and drinks are very affordable. The only negative point is the ambience, which is more like a canteen. But if you want to eat well and cheaply, this is the place for you. 2 people eat and drink here if you don't take a menu for less than €30

24/04/2025: This is my favorite pizzeria in Rome. I have been coming to this pizzeria for 16 years. Since I now live abroad, reading the review I was afraid it changed in the last few years. But it didn't!! I recommend taking the "gigante" version of the pizzas for a truly Roman pizza experience. The pizza is very light and leaves you light but sated. The supplì are also very tasty. Of course it is not an elegant place and you should not expect that. Truly recommended!

21/04/2025: Aumentati troppo i prezzi( dei secondi) e la quantità di cibo nel piatto dimezzata... Peccato, perché i clienti di una vita se ne accorgono e nn ritornano. La guancia, per esempio, sempre. Mangiata da Garibaldi, adesso ridotta tantissimo, mesi fa pensavo fosse una eccezione nel mio piatto, invece quest ultima volta ho verificato che le quantità sono ridotte, troppo. I paccheri nel piatto erano pochissimi, contati 6 paccheri, troppo pochi per un primo che nn é guida Michelin. Passiamo alla lasagna, in un piatto piccolissimo, senza spessore, tre forchettate finita.

31/03/2025: Let's start from the end: 170.00 for two, but with only one starter and one dessert. So we're talking about a restaurant costing 100 euros per person for a complete meal with an average drinkable bottle of wine. They also have a Sassicaia on the wine list. Definitely high expectations which unfortunately were dashed by a series of errors. I deliberately don't go into details but from a 'premium' restaurant I only expect to enjoy their delights, however in our case, this was not the case. The paccheri are good... 5 (stars)... pieces as in the photo. I don't think we will return.

15/04/2025: For the moment I have only been their customer for a sweet order and I pop in for refreshments. It was much appreciated. The room for retail consumption is large and bright. Some "rear-side" parking is also available

09/04/2025: From a place reviewed by Gambero Rosso I expected something else. We had breakfast and it was really disappointing. Apart from the fact that the people at the counter are really very unwelcoming and didn't even ask us what we were having, we had to call them and tell them even though we were the only ones there. The croissant was inedible and the environment was very sad in general, terrible service and terrible food. Never again.

21/04/2025: I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant! The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, the staff were very friendly and attentive, and the food was absolutely delicious.

15/03/2025: Very well kept place. Friendly, friendly and helpful staff. We ate very well and the waiting times were also very satisfactory, from the starter to the dessert. Special mention for the spaghettoni with three cherry tomatoes, mouth-watering. Worth trying again to taste other delights.

17/04/2025: I went there during my backpacking and was a bless in disguise. I booked my hotel next to the Roma Terminal and the area was not very pleaseant to the eye, walking aroundyou would feel unsecure. Nevertheless, there it was this humble restaurant, not that attractive looking from outside. Went inside and it was the most Italian atmosphere ever. Everything organized, with patterns and colour. Beautiful. The waiter, probably a indian, was the most funny, social and high spirit i could hope for. He was getting laughs after laughs from every client i took notice. Hope he still working there. And last, the food, awesome. Tradicional Italian food, which are the best, made by real italians, gorgeous. Went there EVERYDAY that i spent in Rome. Even watched someone proposing at this very restaurant. It was beautiful.

10/04/2025: Our favourite meal in Rome and the best pizza I’ve ever eaten! We followed the recommendations from TikTok and although there was a bit of a queue it was 100% worth the wait! It might not look much from the outside but if you are in Rome it’s a must!!

05/03/2025: At Funghetto Matto you are friends, they really go out of their way to make you feel good, they pay a lot of attention, excellent cuisine where I appreciated the quality, you know what you eat not only because you see it but because you recognize the flavour, it's not common.

12/04/2025: We arrived and sat down for a spritz, the waiter asked us if we wanted to eat the platter but we only asked for the chips they had at the other tables. Their intent was clearly to sell platters, in the end they brought us a spritz (expensive prices for tourists to fleece) without chips and they rushed us a bit so that we could leave. Not recommended, touristy.
