Pizzeria Quattro Stagioni In Roma

I had higher expectations. We ordered three pans of pizza for a whopping €78, a price I consider decidedly high for what we received. The quality of the dough is good, but I was disappointed with the toppings. The capricciosa was incomplete: it was missing eggs, olives, and artichokes. The boscaiola was also missing the sausage, a key ingredient for this flavor. We also ordered a margherita, potatoes and mozzarella, a Napoli pizza, and a crostino. Considering the price, I expected more attention to the preparation and complete ingredients. At this price, I'm not convinced by the quality-price ratio, and I personally don't consider it among the best pizzerias in Rome. In terms of quality and price, we're now on par with Alice Pizza, but without finding any added value that justifies the difference. I hope it was just an unlucky evening, because with a little more attention to the toppings and a more balanced pricing policy, the experience would have been much better.

To describe this place, I can use a simple adjective that encompasses every positive aspect: F A N T A S T I C!!! Even though I'm a die-hard fan of Neapolitan doughs purely for flavor, every now and then I'm overcome by that sometimes overwhelming urge to travel there to savor something sublime, deriving from ancient traditions that are now hard to find. Furthermore, living in the immediate vicinity, I feel it's absolutely my duty to contribute positively to good neighborliness. The attention and meticulousness of the staff are also noteworthy.
