14/04/2025: Excellent food, quality, good presentation, attentive and correct service. We recommend it 💯.

12/04/2025: This gem is so simple one might easily walk past, as it lacks the usual screaming frontages of many traditional Italian eateries. The service is warm and inviting, the outdoor terrace is open air but walled, providing intimacy with fresh air. The food is sumptuous. I ate the aubergine (eggplant) parmigiana to start and followed with a traditional cacio e pepe spaghetti with homemade pasta. The tiramisu to finish was rich without being too thick or heavy, and boasted its rich egg content by virtue of its bright yellow cream. It was easy to each lunch here with a 2 year old. They provided a high chair and were happy to change the cacio e pepe recipe to remove the pepe (pepper) and even made the pecorino cream less strong than for an adult. Verdict: highly recommend. Do not hesitate if you want beautiful food and genuine service without the tourist vibe.

26/03/2025: We had lunch in this beautiful restaurant, the starter was excellent: we had a cooked and a raw one of superior quality and goodness. Delicious first courses. Special mention to the octopus which was phenomenal both in terms of taste and the combinations that distinguished the dish. A round of applause also for the dining room staff: they follow you and advise you in the best way. I am really very satisfied, we will return to taste the rest of the menu

12/04/2025: El lugar es bastante acogedor, con mesas cerca. Está en el barrio de Trastevere. La bruschetta y la pasta eran bastante buenos. Pero realmente no me gustó el comportamiento del personal; incluso otros dos huéspedes dejaron el restaurante debido a ello. Estaban sentados a mi lado y pidieron pedir dos veces, pero a nadie le importó.

13/04/2025: Pranzo, due coppie. É vero che non c’è menu e i piatti sono detti a voce, ma i prezzi sono tipicamente da trattoria. Voglio dire, nessuna sorpresa al momento del conto. 3 primi, 2 secondi, 3 contorni con bruschette, 3 dolci, vino, caffè e acqua nemmeno 30€ a persona. Tutto buono e in una atmosfera cordiale e amichevole. Ci torneremo.

05/04/2025: I ate a marinara pizza and sautéed chicory: 'a pleasure! My guests were also satisfied with the dishes they chose. The ravioli filled with burrata are excellent. I didn't taste it myself, but the tiramisu looked particularly good.

A lot of availability on the part of the staff (in particular Cristina and the chef) to accommodate even special requests. Prices a little above average justified by the quality of the food. 04/04/2025: An experience to absolutely repeat! At the Vecchia Taverna di Velletri I found a perfect balance between tradition and quality. Homemade pasta, genuine ingredients and customer care that really makes the difference. Each dish was presented with care and competence, but the cheese tastings had something magical: they brought me back to childhood flavors and memories. Tagliatelle with artichokes and bacon? A true delight for the palate. And the dessert... a standing ovation ending. If you are in Velletri, treat yourself to a stop in this restaurant: it's really worth it.
