03/03/2025: We visited this place with my friend for dinner a couple of days ago. I decided to order something special, such as Pasta with pistachio and shrimps. However, straight after dinner I started feeling very unwell and ended up being food poisoned for the rest of the night. The next day I needed to stay at home, so my vacation was a little bit ruined. I would NOT recommend this place. Just to say, my friend mentioned that her food made her feel quite strange as well, but she had a different dish.

03/03/2025: Everything perfect, very friendly and kind service, nice environment, background music, really pleasant and delicious food, very honest price €92 for two people -beef tartare -crispy polenta with porcini mushrooms -risotto with beetroot, squacquerone and pistachio - Milanese cutlet (spectacular) -chocolate cake I have no comments other than amazing

02/04/2025: Historic, traditional sliced ​​pizza. I am very happy to have found someone who carries on the tradition of thin-cut and crunchy pizza as it should be in Rome. 17/04/2025: The pizza remains the best in the area, but the service disappointed me due to the lack of availability. I have been a regular customer for years and I had to leave a table of 4 just because there were three of us and the fourth person would be a little late. With great disappointment and in the end I felt kicked out of my (former) favorite pizzeria. At the Da Remo pizzeria they welcomed us with a lot of kindness and a smile on their faces (something they don't have in Nuovo Mondo). Evidently they don't care about customer care since they always have the queue outside. Prices are increasing but it is generalized. Despite the presence of several tourists, including foreign ones, the pizza is still of high quality. Never take the cod fillet which is very salty and inedible. If I have a visitor from out of town once upon a time I would definitely bring them here, now I evaluate other alternatives. Sin.

07/03/2025: We had a spectacular breakfast for two consecutive days with centrifuge, cappuccino, croissants. The owner, a wonderful and very kind person, put us at ease... The sandwiches he was making for quick lunches were mouth watering. My husband and I highly recommend this place.

19/04/2025: Since we couldn't come to Rome without going to a Roman refuge, so we went there too. Incredibly booking the day before. Unlike the rest of the vegan restaurants in the area which make more experimental dishes in a modern environment, Rifugio Romano is the real Roman osteria, with traditional dishes. We ate very well: Giudia artichokes, Ascoli olives (I hadn't eaten them for at least 10 years), supplì (incredible), tonnarelli carbonara (they reminded me of the ones my father made for me when I was little) and cacio e pepe. To conclude a very creamy tiramisú. All washed down with kombucha. Now I know why it is so renowned, I hope to return soon.

Everything was good from the raw meats, to the 3 (abundant) samples of first courses, to the second courses, to the dessert, coffee and coffee killer. The impeccable service. Very nice and polite. The owner is always present. I would like to point out that we ate everything based on fish (such as lobster linguine), raw fish and fish main courses. Sparkling wine and wine. We paid around €45 each. In my opinion it's worth it all. If we hadn't taken the raw food we would have dropped to around 35. I will definitely go back again. I recommend it to you.

27/03/2025: I went three times for lunch with colleagues from work nearby. Classic, family-run trattoria. Limited but good quality menu. The spaghetti cacio e pepe is excellent, the other first courses are good. For the second course we only had the kebabs with chicory, everything was good, the service was friendly, the price was appropriate for the products served If you pass nearby, I recommend a stop.

The service was one of the best I have ever received, there was a very attentive, polite and professional girl...I really have to compliment her, personally I prefer a place where there is this type of attention and for this reason even the quality of what you eat would have been overshadowed...the fact is that you eat well!!! Someone who lived in Greece for 4 years tells you this... I don't give 5 stars to the food just because I know Greek cuisine inside out but I assure you that the quality is high... very honest prices... highly recommended
