06/07/2025: Lunch on Saturday, not crowded place and service maybe a little slow but still pleasant as a wait. A la carte restaurant with both Chinese and Japanese dishes, we ate sushi and it was all really delicious, good fish and with the right amount of rice compared to the fish. Very generous portions!

18/06/2025: We visited La Toricella based on a recommendation from the owner of the AirBnB, where we are staying. We were told to reserve our table because this restaurant is very busy. When we reached, the staff did not have a record of our booking. However, they kindly provided us with a table. The restaurant is very rustic and the decor on the inside projects this very well. The staff were very friendly and efficient. We particularly enjoyed the salt fish with potato fritters and the courgette flower with burrata and anchovies. For the main course we had the tonnarelli pasta with courgette and prawns and the linguine with lobster. All dishes were excellent and we only have compliments to share. Definitely a place you should for lunch or dinner if you are in Testaccio!

17/06/2025: The typical restaurant of the past. Genuine, in every sense, both for the service, the owner and the food. Its strong point is fish, but if you are looking for typical Roman cuisine you will not be disappointed. The owner Augusto knows his stuff and it is worth stopping by, whether for lunch or dinner. The house wine is good, otherwise you can choose a good bottle. Generous portions and finger-licking appetizers. Outdoor tables protected by a small roof and inside separated in a large room. Parking is not very easy in the area, but with a bit of luck and a couple of laps in the neighborhood you can find it.

26/05/2025: If you pass through the neighborhood, you can't miss stopping by this wonderful pastry shop. The pastry chefs are incomparably generous and the ladies who serve us are genuinely kind. We thank you very much for your kindness in our interactions. We will be happy to see you again!

14/07/2025: We went for lunch yesterday, three of us plus a little girl. The restaurant is just steps from the Trevi Fountain, and the place is well-kept and very welcoming. We greatly appreciated the kindness of the owner, Andrea, who accommodated our every need, and of the other waiter who served us. All the dishes were very good. We had a mixed antipasto and a buffalo mozzarella caprese, as well as three traditional first courses, all excellent. The discount was also applied as requested. I recommend it for anyone visiting Rome!

01/06/2025: Quality pastry bar and really kind and friendly staff. The only flaw is that not all the staff is careful about using tools to avoid contact with the food served (such as tongs). Some use their hands with small napkins but despite the effort contact with food is inevitable. This makes me take away 2 stars

07/06/2025: went for lunch with tartare and mushroom pasta and spritz, both were not bad, but tartare didnt taste too beefy and mushroom pasta was a bit too oily, dessert was available but was not on the menu, the environment was nice and cozy, the staff was really nice and spoke english well, gave good recommendations, it was a bit hot though, the AC might not have been turned on. there was also a seat charge per person called coperto.
