Sole Di Sicilia In Roma

I'm a Palermitan living in Rome, and after trying several so-called Sicilian rotisserie restaurants in Rome, I can say that "Bedda Matri" beats them all. They even make potato croquettes (crocchè) like they used to be (they're getting hard to find even in Palermo). Highly recommended. I'd say mandatory.

As a native of Palermo, I guarantee the highest quality and deliciousness of the products at an excellent price-performance ratio. What a joy to find a little piece of home here in Rome and your warmth in welcoming us. I can't wait to come back already ❤️

The true flavors of Palermo...said by a Palermitan, you can trust them! Fantastic food, the arancini and cannoli are delicious...I go there whenever I can.

We were passing through and stopped to eat at this really cozy little place. We ate the baked anelletti very well and took home the Sicilian sesame biscuits. They were exceptional!!!! We'll definitely be back.

I could define "Bedda Matri" as an island in Rome where the main delicacies of the Palermo rotisserie are served, which have nothing to envy of those found in the best rotisseries in Palermo. For the people of Palermo, the rotisserie is a place where you can eat the tastiest food and where you can indulge in even a moment of food transgression. From "Bedda Matri" all this is possible. Almost family-run, the grandmother manages and supervises the kitchen. At the counter there are alternating employees who, despite their professionalism, never fail to make jokes and jokes in the Sicilian language. I go there, as well as to eat our specialties, to feel a bit at home.

Excellent quality rotisserie, tender and tasty rotisserie chicken, everything delicious. Friendly and welcoming staff. Homey atmosphere.
