15/11/2025: Vintage Restaurant is a gem of a little restaurant in Genazzano, a town in the Castelli Romani area. On Sunday, November 9, 2025, 56 of us shared a delicious, family-style lunch: tagliatelle with ragù, hearty and filling, and a second course of roast beef with baked potatoes, equally delicious! Everything was delicious, and Alessandro, the owner, was always available to accommodate our requests and was very friendly with all of us! Highly recommended. Doriana. (Cellino San Marco)

24/11/2025: If I had to choose one word to describe our dinner, it would be: awful. We booked through The Fork, and the owner must not have liked this (as he himself confirmed at the end of the dinner), in fact, the welcome was rather cold. We sat down; he tried to be friendly, and at first, he even succeeded. It quickly became clear that we couldn't choose what to eat for an appetizer: he dictated, under the guise of helping us and explaining the dishes, what he would bring us. Okay, fine. That's fine. The "tasters" arrived, which were actually quite generous portions, and we devoured them with gusto. Immediately after we finished the last bite of couscous, we realized, reluctantly, that we had also been stripped of the power to decide how to proceed with the dinner: he explained that we should eat with our hands and share, because food is union, two plates as a centerpiece. Okay, this time too. Okay, we didn't understand much, but we couldn't help but trust the goodwill of whoever had forced dinner on us, aware that we'd lost the right to speak and even to think once we crossed that threshold. These famous plates arrived: they were enormous and packed with food we hadn't chosen and that, at this point, we had no choice but to try. The problem was that they were far too abundant: there were three of us plus a child, and there was food for at least six people. The proof, if any more were needed, is that the only table besides ours, made up of four adults, only had one of those large centerpiece plates. Maybe they chose it, maybe not, but it doesn't matter: the quantity is significantly different. Of course, we didn't finish either of the two centerpieces, reluctantly. Because throwing away food is a sin and it's bad for you. Not for the owner, who didn't bat an eyelid when he took away all that goodness. We were bursting at the seams, including the child. The surprise came with the bill: €113. Three adults and a child. At an African restaurant. Reading the bill, you can see that we were charged an exorbitant amount of dishes, things we didn't choose and that we knew we'd never be able to eat, if only we'd been able to order as is right and normal when going out for dinner. However, he offered us a dessert (always imposed) that we weren't interested in and three liqueurs, perhaps necessary to at least try to kick-start our laborious digestion.

Everything I tried was prepared with quality ingredients and great care. The staff is friendly, helpful, and ready to recommend the right dish, while the atmosphere is welcoming and well-kept. An excellent choice for those who want to eat well and in a relaxed atmosphere. Highly recommended!

01/11/2025: I never thought the food would be so good at a sports center! We went mainly for the wood-fired pizzas (a rare find!) and, I must say, they were delicious!! I also had the pasta, which was equally good! The bruschetta with porcini mushrooms was divine!!! They also do meat and sandwiches, and the look is very inviting! It's always very busy (we've been back). The pizza prices are a little higher than usual, but the quality makes up for it, big time!!! One piece of advice: the desserts could be improved, not much choice and very simple. Otherwise, I would have given 5 stars. The staff is friendly and helpful! See you next time!!! 😜

07/12/2025: We spent a night at this farmhouse in the hills overlooking Subiaco. The location is pleasant. The restaurant, where we dined, was the highlight of our stay. We ate very well, drank an excellent natural red, and spent a fair amount. What we appreciated most was the fact that the bread and desserts are homemade. Breakfast was okay, I wouldn't go so far as to say special (despite the quality of the products and the courtesy of our server) only because there's so little choice: they served us three types of cakes (good, but eating them all is physically impossible, and we would have liked to have been able to choose something else before we were full; the waitress asked us, "Do you want anything else?" after we'd already eaten the desserts, so we were already full; we certainly could have asked, but we assumed it was a forced choice). The rooms are okay, well-heated, although this is the only area where I feel a little more could be done: it wouldn't take much, perhaps new mattresses or bed frames. The price: high, but that's not the property's fault. When we paid, the owner informed us that the website we booked through had applied a very high markup, about 25% above their standard rate. I don't know if they could have, but contacting us at the time of booking and offering us the stay at the "normal" price would certainly have been greatly appreciated. But perhaps that's not possible, I don't know. Special mention also goes to the staff: discreet, courteous, and very helpful.

24/08/2025: A truly enchanting place for its tranquility and location. Delicious food that respects local traditions and more. Everything was excellent. Special mention for the selection of local wines.

05/12/2025: I stumbled upon this place by chance. It was a pleasant surprise. I ordered some delicious pizza and some fried food. I was impressed by the freshness of all the ingredients, the delicious fried food, not too oily, and above all by the kindness of the staff. It may seem like a small thing, but being courteous and friendly is truly important, and these days it often takes a back seat. I'll definitely be back.

The pizza chef, Alessio, should win the Nobel Prize for pizza; no one makes it like him. And I'm going back tonight. If you haven't been yet, you don't know what you're missing. I'm ordering it now!

09/11/2025: I visited this ice cream shop on a Sunday afternoon. There were only four available because they were all sold out, even the yogurt. We made do with the remaining flavors, but the cone was ridiculous: €3 for ice cream and the quantity was really small, and the flavor wasn't great either. As if that weren't enough, when we got up to leave, one of the owners arrogantly told us to put away a chair that had been left a bit far from the table. I politely went back and did so, but it was definitely the last time I'll set foot in there. Good luck with the new opening... but first you should learn how to manage the store you already own.
