Really authentic, local Roman restaurant with just the best food. The server recommended us great drinks to pair with our food and off-the-menu seasonal dessert to die for! Helps that we were recommended by another local and super friendly and amazing server from another local bar! Funny thing is they put us in the room with the other tourists and indeed a loud table of foreign tourists crossed us justified why they would have done that, keeping the locals separated! But we were very well behaved so would have loved to be in the local’s room!

La Pollarola :  cuisine de qualité, ma femme était très contente de son plat : gritto polpo con carciofino, pour moi  les calamari fritti n'étant pas assez fritti. Délicieux desserts / addition raisonnable vs qualité . Service excellent. Cadre classique.

I've known him for a while but I have to say that on Sunday for lunch we had a great time in everything from the service to the cleanliness to the bill and I ate a beef cheek which was pure poetry

It has been four months since we ate at La Pollarola on the recommendation of a friend who lived in Rome and I’m still daydreaming about this meal. The food, ambiance, and service was a true highlight of two weeks in Italy. We went in September and were extra glad we made a reservation beforehand. Don’t skip dinner here - and sit outside!

Era una cena di lavoro ma mi ha piacevolmente sorpreso. Ho scelto dei piatti del giorno tra cui un calamaro con carciofi che era un gran bel piatto ( seppie arrostite tagliate sottilissimi con sopra carciofi croccanti) e un saute di cozze seguito da un ottimo dolce Personale cortese, ambiente curato. Ci tornerò

06/04/2024: While this restaurant is in a good location, and the pianist gives a great atmosphere, we were set in the back garden, where there was no atmosphere. The food was okay, however my friend’s calzone was undercooked and watery. The bruschetta was also very average. My pasta was nice, however the wine we got served was of very poor quality. Service was fast and good. Overall this place was disappointing, hopefully they can improve on the food and drinks.
05/04/2024: Food was amazing and service is so friendly, recommended to visit. Waiters also give so much joy ❤️
