I often return to this elegant restaurant in the heart of Trastevere. The dishes are delicious and meticulously crafted. The service is attentive and friendly. Last time, I tried the Signature Menu, and it was truly exceptional.

We had the most wonderful first night in Rome. Our experience here was great. Really delicious food and wine and the presentation was next level.

Dining at CONTEMPO at Donna Camilla Savelli Hotel in Rome was such a special experience. The setting alone is beautiful—historic, elegant, but still relaxed and welcoming. What really stood out to me was the staff. Everyone was so kind, attentive, and genuinely warm without ever feeling over the top. It made the whole evening feel easy and personal. The food was just as memorable. I ordered the artichoke—one of my favorite dishes—and it honestly exceeded my expectations. Every bite was full of flavor and clearly made with care. We also started with a gorgeous assortment of breads, crackers, and breadsticks arranged like delicate wheat stalks, which was such a creative and thoughtful touch. My grilled chicken and potatoes were simple but perfectly done, letting the quality of the ingredients shine. And to end the meal, the tiramisu was absolutely delicious, paired with a perfect cappuccino. Everything about the experience felt heartfelt, from the food to the service to the setting. I’d go back in a heartbeat.

Great food, wonderful amuse-bouche, extra pastries from the chef. 💝 Tables with glass tops were uncomfortable and too noisy.

We came here for our anniversary and left disappointed. The tasting menu seriously lacked sophistication and balance. Honestly, the regular restaurants we visited in Rome offered better quality. 1. The starters were ok. The fish cream was the most interesting element but was destroyed by far too much bitter celery. 2. The creamy soup was the best, but the pasta did not work with it at all. It would have been better to stick with the potatoes. 3. Whoever tried the risotto carbonara and approved it, lacks taste. It’s better to execute a dish well, than to be „creative“ for the sake of it. 4. The last desert could be expected in a rustic, cheap osteria, not in a menu worth 110€. It was clumsy, heavy-handed and uninspired. 5. Hire a sommelier if you offer a wine pairing. Sparkling wine🥂 really didn’t go well with the appetizers, and the apple liqueur tasted low quality, sickly sweet 6. Train your waiters better. They could barely explain the dishes, and at times could not even say what the ingredients were (in understandable English)
