04/07/2025: I was at the restaurant at 16.30 yesterday. Because I did not feel well I wanted to sit and buy a drink. My age is 65. We were with 3 persons. The whole terrace was empty except two waiters smoking. It was not possible to have a drink without food. I had to leave. I asked if I could please stay there, I really didn't feel well, it was 35 degrees and I had problems with my knee. I would be glad to pay for cold water. My son was getting the car it would not take long. When I would go to another place he could not find me. They were very rude to me and said I had to leave immediately. That's why I ended up sitting on the road before the restaurant. I have never be treated like that.

03/07/2025: Went in. It was very busy but there were empty tables. Then we were asked to wait outside in close to 40° heat. I noticed this place has the worst overall ratings if many restaurants are almost all restaurants in the area, so I guess that says something.

20/07/2025: Impeccable service, nice place, ok food. I prefer smaller, more specialized menus, but I can't say I've had a bad meal. Lidia welcomes you with a smile and empathy without being intrusive. I also found the rest of the staff attentive, kind, and professional.

20/07/2025: The best! First courses, second courses, and side dishes were top-notch! But above all, the welcome was the best ever, the location was excellent, just a stone's throw from the Trevi Fountain.

21/07/2025: Ho conosciuto questo posto con la vecchia gestione ed era un buon ristorante di pesce. Devo ammettere che la nuova gestione, ha migliorato il livello che era già elevato. Il menù è stato rivisitato ed i piatti provati fino adesso sono stati molto buoni. Il pesce è fresco e ben cucinato. Il servizio è sempre stato impeccabile e professionale. Prezzi nella media. Da consigliare

10/07/2025: ✨ Una scoperta che merita! Ho scoperto con sorpresa che da circa tre mesi il ristorante è sotto nuova gestione. Senza nulla togliere alla precedente, oggi si mangia davvero benissimo — ogni piatto è curato nei minimi dettagli, con una qualità del pesce che parla da sola. Il personale è cordiale e l’ambiente accogliente, perfetto per una serata piacevole. Molto apprezzato anche l’intervento sull’esterno, dove è stato aggiunto un salottino relax ideale per concludere la cena in tranquillità. 💰 Il prezzo è un pochino più alto della media, certamente della trattoria. Ma qui si parla di un’esperienza gastronomica che vale ogni centesimo.

23/02/2025: Ci andiamo sempre, pizza supplì, crocchette artigianali, tavola calda, atmosfera e gestione familiare da molti anni. Con saletta interna e prezzi adeguati ad una clientela locale affezionata. La pastiera è la più buona della provincia di Roma.

31/01/2025: A little careless, I asked for takeaway products, I found a difference, instead of a croquette I had an original arancino which I couldn't consume as I was intolerant to legumes, I had dinner with my wife, 2 delicious supplì, 2 excellent pizzas, mine 4 delicious cheeses compliments

11/06/2025: The food was delicious. I ate the 4 formaggi pizza, tiramisu and ananas. The waiter was very kind and he was always willing to assist us. The environment is super calm and quiet. Special for a Rome dinner!

22/06/2025: A Beautiful Hotel with Some Disappointments The hotel itself is undeniably beautiful, with charming architecture and a tranquil setting. However, we left feeling somewhat disappointed due to several issues that affected our stay. We specifically chose this hotel for its stunning swimming pool, only to be told on arrival Friday evening that it would be closed for a wedding the next day. While we understood the need to accommodate private events, it would have been appreciated—and more professional—if the hotel had contacted us in advance to inform us of this closure. Especially as we had phoned the hotel earlier that same day to let them know we would be arriving late due to car trouble—this could have been a perfect opportunity to let us know about the pool situation. On Saturday morning, we noticed some guests by the pool and decided to check with reception again. This time, we were told we could stay until 11:30am, which we did. In the end, the wedding didn’t start until much later, and we felt disappointed that our access was unnecessarily cut short. On Sunday, after checking out, we asked if we could spend a bit more time by the pool. Despite the area being empty (it was a grey day), we were told it was reserved for guests checking in later—though check-in wasn’t until the afternoon. We suspect it was again reserved for the wedding party. Given that the pool is a key selling point for the hotel, it would be advisable for them to notify guests in advance if access will be restricted during their stay. The receptionist even mentioned that this has been a recurring issue over the past 20 years and suggested that guests should call to check beforehand. While we understand the challenges of hosting events, we believe it’s the hotel’s responsibility to proactively inform guests if amenities are not going to be available as advertised. That said, the hotel did make some effort to address our concerns. When we requested a complimentary breakfast one morning due to the pool situation, they kindly agreed—and the breakfast was good. The building itself is charming, though our air conditioning malfunctioned the first night and began leaking, but it was repaired promptly the next day. Unfortunately, on the second night, the unit emitted a persistent ringing noise, which made sleeping difficult. On a more positive note, the hotel restaurant was a highlight—delicious, high-quality food served in a gorgeous setting. The staff were friendly and attentive despite being busy, and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal there. Overall, while there were several positive aspects to our stay, we feel the experience could have been significantly improved with clearer communication and more consideration for non-event guests.

18/06/2025: Ho scelto questo ristorante per celebrare il mio 70mo compleanno con la nostra grande famiglia. Sabato 14 giugno di sera. Un vero successo, decretato da mia moglie, i miei 40 convitati e, ovvio, da me. Tutto organizzato alla perfezione, a bordo piscina, in un ambiente che è degna cornice ad un evento che, accade una sola volta....Gentilissimi nel soddisfare le nostre richieste. Ottimo il servizio, molto attento. Passiamo alla cena: ha fattos eguito ad un benvenuto ed aperitivo molto sostenuto. La cena di per sè è stata ottima. Ripeto: non oslo nei miei giudizi, visto che continuo a ricevre complimenti. Ottimi vini e il dolce praticamente assemblato in real time. Poi, un accompagnamento musicale soft, con musica per ballare stile anni '70 a seguire. Siamo soddisfattissimi. Nel frattempo del nostro evento, hanno ovviamente gestito altri ospiti. Conosciamo il Postiglione, e sappiamo che lo hanno fatto con stile e qualità. Bravissimi!

19/07/2025: I was walking along the lake with my mother. We weren't particularly hungry, but we caught sight of the waitresses serving some inviting dishes. We were quickly greeted by the girls, who kindly seated us and immediately took our drink orders. Water and beer. My pasta with clams was delicious. Simple, plentiful, full of clams (which isn't always the case), and the sauce was well-blended. My mother chose a short pasta dish with seafood, when the menu listed a different type of pasta, and the kitchen had no problem with that. This dish was also very good, plentiful, and full of seafood. We were pleasantly surprised. Average prices.

18/07/2025: A quiet family lunch. The tables set on the lakeside under the trees offer a spectacular view and a relaxing atmosphere. The young woman who served us was polite and very kind. The dishes were excellent and plentiful. We really enjoyed our stay.

09/07/2025: A very tasty stop...La Nichia Cafe was the meeting place and first stop on our food tour. Like so many others, we enjoyed the food, wine and atmosphere. We now know about the quality olive oils and balsamics and had a chance to taste and compare the differences.

28/06/2025: This a fantastic little cafe. We went there on a food tour and were able to taste so many of their products they sell. High quality balsamic vinegar up to 30 year aged!! (Pricey) Delicious pestos basil and sundried tomato both. The classic Italian meats are fantastic. Wonderful prosecco and vernaccia as well as chianti classico. Go find this place (not far from Bonci pizza) or better yet do 'the Roman Food Tour' and you will get the best experience!!

25/05/2025: Personale molto cordiale e gentile , premurosi col cliente , ti fanno sentire in un ambiente familiare. Il cibo superbo ,un antipasto fuori menù molto buono e un primo eccezionale.. Purtroppo però non è l’osteria che ci si aspetta, menù troppo elaborato. Non è un osteria tradizionale vecchio stampo . Detto ciò lo consiglio

23/05/2025: I happened upon this street by chance with my wife, instinct suggested we go in! We did well! Welcoming atmosphere, delightful ladies who show you menus and wines! (Well-stocked cellar) really good starters, first and second courses! The perciatello is a spectacle!

02/07/2025: Just a lovely simple place with a family set up. I went to Rome and stayed nearby this place several years ago and forgot to write a review. Mama makes great pizza dough in the back and the son at the front was very welcoming and helped me to choose pizza. I’m from the UK where pizza is rubbish but, as you can imagine, if I’m writing a review after nearly 9 years it must be good. Thanks everyone there! Grazie mille!

05/06/2025: The boss is so kind. I needed breakfast early in the morning, but the nearby McDonald's said it would open at 7, but it was closed, so I went to this store on my way home. It was early in the morning, so they didn't have pizza, but the bread, coffee, and cappuccino were cheap and delicious. It was a shame that I found out about this on the last day of my trip. I hope to see you again next time.

01/07/2025: A point of reference for a Sunday lunch or last minute dinner. Everything is good from pizza to spaghetti with clams. My favorite is the millefoglie with cream and strawberries, really delicious, delicate and light. The two girls in particular are fast and kind.
