I loved this place; it's one of the few that has live music every day, something essential in any city for tourists who don't just go out on weekends, but sometimes also look for live music during the week. The staff were very friendly; one even took a picture with my boyfriend. Excellent service. We spent four days in Rome, and all four days ended up at Fonclea since we couldn't find any other live music during the week. Their baked potatoes are delicious!

The Banda Minima Garantita concert, the history and the wonderful hospitality of the Fonclea are unmissable events for me.

The atmosphere, the setting, the live music, the restaurant's delicious dishes (including gluten-free options), and the kindness and helpfulness of the manager and staff make this place a must-visit for anyone looking to spend a delightful evening...in good company. Don't miss it!

Enjoyed a lovely night of live music with everyone in the room singing along. Excellent range of beers and wine. Loved our rum and pear.

A very fun evening with the band paying homage to Renato Zero. The staff is always friendly and very quick at serving tables. I will continue to return.

Always a fantastic atmosphere at this historic venue. Spending an evening here gives you a boost of positive energy! The top-notch programming caters to every musical taste: every night a different band, always excellent. If you're staying for dinner (excellent value), you can reserve a table. Excellent selection of draft beers. They're always friendly and welcoming. They have special offers until 8:30 PM.

I returned to this historic venue after many years and was surprised to find the same pleasant atmosphere, good music, and good food. The place is small and packed, so you wouldn't expect perfect service, but I still enjoyed it, as much as the fried food and beer. I'll definitely be back.
