28/04/2025: Very helpful wait staff who talked us through the menu. This is not your usual Rome dishes as they specialise in Calabrian food (southern Italy), so be prepared for something different and delicious. Food was fantastic and I would recommend this to anybody who is willing to be a little more adventurous with their choice of food.

29/06/2025: Nice discovery on the hills of Santa Marinella with an exceptional view! The owner is a very nice person 😅 highly recommended the free-range rooster ... With a trolley of bitters that would compete with the most famous restaurants!

28/06/2025: Wonderful place! You eat very well with a view of the sea. Ducks and chickens that run around freely and a relaxing atmosphere. The owners are kind and very friendly. If it were close to Rimini it would be a weekly stop! Highly recommended!!

26/05/2025: The place is nice and we can't say we ate badly, but: we were extremely disappointed by the fried battered vegetables that only saw the shadow of vegetables; the artichoke and sausage lasagna was good, it's just a shame that the base was a little overcooked; the gnocchi had a smell of laurel that we believe was used to prepare the ragù sauce and for our tastes it was a jarring note; the gratin fennel was very good. Fair prices. P.S. it is not expected that you can reply to the owner's response and so I will explain my comment on the battered vegetables more clearly: there was such a negligible quantity of vegetables (the one with the courgette contained half of a thin round!) that they were in fact fried batters and not fried battered vegetables. I didn't write that the lasagna was burnt - we wouldn't have eaten it - but that the base was a little overcooked. I hope my comment is clearer.

07/04/2025: Wonderful discovery during the visit to the Soratte bunker, which is just a few minutes walk away. Encouraged by the excellent reviews which have been fully confirmed. Informal but very nice restaurant, with an excellent and kind welcome. Menu not at all banal, with very beautiful and tasty dishes; with particular attention to seasonality. Definitely recommended!!!

02/07/2025: The quality of the pizza is very good, we went mid-June and, even though there were quite a few people, the Frittini arrived in a few minutes and the pizzas in about ten minutes! Recommended! ;)

23/06/2025: Great food. We really like the pizza dough, Congratulations. The service is always friendly and helpful. The environment, given the building, is very spartan even if well-kept. Simple but good on the outside. Inside, given the shape of the building, it can be a bit noisy if there are a lot of people. Even at the last minute they found us a place even though it was Saturday. I would say everything OK.

07/07/2025: The service and prices were great but the food tasted a bit bland however if you're staying near it is a nice meal for a good price.

26/06/2025: Authentic Roman dishes which were very reasonably priced and very tasty (we paid only €7 for a litre of lovely house red wine). The restaurant was full of local residents which made for a wonderful atmosphere.

19/07/2025: We ate here 3 nights out of 4 during our stay in Rome, trying something different every night. The staff were friendly and talkative, and spoke multiple languages. The menu consisted of many different meals including pasta, pizza, and burgers. There was only one night we had a starter but we chose the cold meat platter for 2 which was probably enough for 3. I would recommend the basil and pistachio lasagne, which was to die for as was the Bolognese lasagna (no need for a side salad). But the real treats are the desserts especially the pannacotta and tiramisu. The view from the restaurant was the top of St Peter's basilica (which was ruined by the burger king on the opposite side of the road). But the staff and food definitely make up for it Would definitely give this restaurant a try.

29/06/2025: Le pizze si possono avere con tre tipi di impasto e vengono piacevolmente servite già tagliate in otto spicchi. Molto digeribili. Sicuramente consigliabile

27/06/2025: Great food. All the ingredients are quality and the dough is interesting (even without added yeast with natural leavening). The staff is always very kind and attentive. Nothing to complain about. We will also try the San Lorenzo location.

Piatti nuovi con ingredienti di ottima qualità che trasportano in altri territori in un viaggio culinario sotto la guida attenta del personale che spiega minuziosamente ogni singolo piatto raccontandolo e facendolo gustare prima con la vista e poi con il palato.
