16/02/2026: It used to be my favorite place, a regular stop in Trevignano. Management has clearly changed, and the food has suffered greatly. Now it's a great spot for an aperitivo overlooking the lake with a platter (excellent cured meats and cheeses), but I wouldn't go for the cooked dishes. The beef cheek I ordered yesterday was incredibly tough, it tasted like it had been boiled, so I left it on my plate. I wouldn't recommend it for lunch, but it's still a wonderful place for a good aperitivo.

15/02/2026: We had lunch here and had a great time, both for what we ate and for the location, practically on the lake. The service was perhaps a little slow compared to other places, but the staff was very friendly and helpful... so the extra few minutes didn't bother us at all; on the contrary, we'll definitely be back. :)

09/03/2026: The interior is small and welcoming, while outside you can eat under the umbrellas and with the traffic coming and going. Other than that, the food is good and the price is reasonable.

27/02/2026: Nothing special, just a nice little place to eat and spend little. The staff is very friendly and helpful, but the food isn't what you'd expect from a fraschetta. The ingredients are high-quality, but learn how to stir the pasta. A gricia with a puddle of water underneath is hard to see or eat. Thanks.

05/01/2026: A wonderful discovery, excellent staff, a unique, warm, and welcoming location, especially the cellar where we had our aperitif, with its niches carved into the tuff rock. The dishes were one surprise after another, with unusual flavor combinations that truly made a difference, not to mention the freshness and quality of the ingredients. I will definitely be back.

18/02/2026: We were here in the summer of 2024. We were strolling around the square and the waiter invited us into the restaurant, saying that if we didn't like the food, we didn't have to pay. I thought I'd joke about not liking the food, but the carbonara was so delicious that I decided to write a review about it. I've had carbonara elsewhere since, but nowhere was it as delicious as at Clemente alla Maddalena.

15/02/2026: This place was a wonderful surprise! We stumbled upon it while walking to the Trevi Fountain. Since it was a holiday, they were about to close, but the waiter very kindly offered to serve us. We sat down for drinks, and they brought us chips and peanuts. We never felt pressured by any of the staff, and the drinks were excellent! When I return, I'll definitely try the food too. So grateful for the service! The place is truly beautiful, and there was a man playing an instrument in the street—it was very romantic!

02/01/2026: Delicious cookies! The welcome was lovely; the pastry chef took the time to explain everything to us, and since then, we've been enjoying his wide variety of incredibly fresh cookies! The prices are also very reasonable! I highly recommend it!

19/03/2026: A nice little wine bar, but they also have good beer. Friendly service and good, simple food. Unfortunately, the prices are a bit above average. All in all, though, it's good for a quick bite or a nice glass of wine 🍷

10/02/2026: A place you wouldn't expect, discovered almost by chance and turned out to be exceptional. It's a small, truly family-run seafood restaurant. The menu features a few dishes chosen based on the catch of the day, all extremely fresh. We had fried calamari, fresh fish and crispy fried to a pale color—a sign of the excellent frying oil used—and then the grilled calamari, so tender they melted in your mouth. Then we had two masterfully executed seafood risottos, with just a few cherry tomatoes for added color. The kind lady recommended two glasses of very good Pecorino wine, thank you. The bread was also exceptional, which is not a given. But above all, the warmth and welcome; it felt like lunch with friends... Finally, I invite you to come, as the prices are very fair considering the high quality of the fish used. Congratulations, I will definitely be back, booking ahead....

20/12/2025: Today I went to that restaurant with my husband and unfortunately we had a bad experience. We both ordered a Danish steak, but it arrived cold, very tough, and undercooked. I couldn't eat it at all and mentioned it to the waitress, asking to speak to the owner. Instead of apologizing, the waitress told me I was rude and that I shouldn't come back, without even offering to remake the dish. Basically, my husband had to pay for his portion because he ate it, but I was treated terribly. I wanted to let this be known because that's unacceptable treatment. Thank you!
