19/05/2026: We're on the southern outskirts of Rome, in the lovely (Seraphic) Laurentina neighborhood, where this restaurant has been tastefully decorated on an open space off Via Lilio. It seats about 40 people max (inside and outside), and yesterday, on a Monday, it was very busy and well-attended. We waited 15 minutes for our menus, but the service was prompt and reasonable. We ordered two delicious platters, well-stocked and attractively presented; then a decent salmon first course and, unfortunately, two truffle fillets that were overcooked and dry, resulting in a less than pleasant taste, despite the quality of the meat. The fillet I ordered in red wine was medium rare (as I'd requested) and also of good quality. The sautéed chicory was flavorful. The price of €38 per person, in my opinion, is 10% overestimated (the Capolemole Rosso wine, not particularly good, is overpriced), although the portions were more than adequate. I asked for the receipt.
We'll definitely return because the atmosphere, though small, is relaxed and conversation is easy, especially given the quality of the patrons.
17/05/2026: We came to Osteria Stile Osteria for an annual conference and can honestly say it was a truly culinary experience.
We'd like to give a special shout-out to the chef, whom we'd unhesitatingly call a true artist. Our only regret is that we didn't have the pleasure of meeting him in person during the evening, although speaking with Marco—who runs the restaurant impeccably—we realized how difficult it is to see him in the dining room, even while leaving precise instructions to ensure each dish is prepared to perfection. And we can confirm that this attention to detail is truly evident in every detail.
My husband and I would have loved to meet him in person to compliment him, because every dish served exuded care, balance, and research.
From the swordfish appetizer, fresh zucchini, cherry tomatoes, and fennel used with extraordinary delicacy, to the discovery of the pepper jam, prepared with a refinement worthy of the finest chefs.
At a certain point, we said to ourselves: "This is truly an osteria... but of the highest caliber."
And it was there that we understood the meaning of the restaurant's name: an authentic osteria style, with generous and convivial portions, but with the quality and technique of a top-notch restaurant.
The croaker was cooked to perfection, with that truly extraordinary light smoky flavor.
The duck was tender, flavorful, and also impeccably cooked.
The portions were generous, as you'd expect from a true osteria, but without ever compromising on elegance and quality.
The service also lived up to the food: professional, attentive, and welcoming. Special thanks to Marco, Valentina, Alessandro, and Christian, who made us feel welcome from start to finish.
The quality-price ratio is absolutely consistent with what's offered. In fact, we almost hope that after reviews like this they don't raise the prices, because the value they place on the table is truly exceptional, while still allowing many people to enjoy a gastronomic experience of this caliber.
And finally, the tiramisu in a cup: spectacular.
We didn't order the larger portion solely for nutritional reasons... otherwise we would have ordered four more without hesitation. Smooth, balanced, not overly sugary: a perfect finish.
Even coming from the South, where good food is certainly not lacking, we sensed the exceptional quality of this place.
We will definitely return.
