Excellent experience, very friendly staff, superb quality. We came from Sicily on vacation, arrived late for lunch, and had the best porchetta so far, after trying several places. From now on, when I return, it will be a regular stop. Greetings to the fast food guy.

It is a very rustic place, but with a very welcoming atmosphere.
The staff is friendly and makes you feel at home.
Rich and tasty appetizer, traditional Roman first courses done well.
Second courses of quality meat with excellent cooking and served with good side dishes.
Good selection of local wines.
Excellent homemade desserts to close a substantial "family" meal.
Suitable for both families and individuals who want to "eat well"....

Convenient, street-facing, with indoor parking, a full menu, takeout, and indoor seating. For a quality meal instead of the usual Mc Donald's sandwiches... Very affordable prices. I recommend it to travelers for a quick refreshment stop.

A wonderful experience in a truly respectable fraschetta. The welcome, in true Roman tradition, was warm and attentive. Not to mention the food: the carbonara was amazing, one of the best I've ever had. The sausages were a little below expectations, but that's okay. The internal dining area, with its lights and the orderly arrangement of tables and customers, creates an atmosphere of absolute comfort that lets you fully breathe in the atmosphere of Rome and the Roman fraschetta. An experience I absolutely must repeat!

Fraschetta with a capital "F"
Da Michele in Fontana di Papa is a masterclass in all the fraschettas in the Castelli Romani area. Carbonara and Amatriciana with textbook fresh tonnarelli, flavorful tripe, and a mixed roast with saltimbocca are truly excellent. High-quality products and a fair price compared to local fraschettas, but above all, everything is extremely easy to digest. An authentic place that also welcomes dogs. Reservations are highly recommended, as it's always busy. The staff is extremely kind and attentive, and a special thanks to Laura, who served us and complimented our dog.
