28/06/2025: Truly a beautiful pearl. Intimate and refined little place without the pretension of being snobbish. Knowledgeable and very friendly staff. Food quality ratio, truly appreciable. We had a tasting menu and the attention to the product, the combinations and the presentation of the dishes were all remarkable and planned. To try.

26/06/2025: Last night I had dinner for the first time in this place, eating really well: I recommend the tuna tataki, really delicious, as well as the cod millefeuille. Overall excellent experience, also in relation to the service: the owner and the waitresses very kind and helpful.

18/06/2025: Excellent food. We were four people and had four different dishes, each one better than the last. Highly recommended, and if there's a line or wait, don't worry; tables turn over quickly and they don't take more than 15 minutes to call you. The Trastevere area is charming.

22/06/2025: This place is a gem. The food is authentic. It is as fresh as it gets. Atmosphere is phenomenal as is the service. A gem hidden to the side, away from the main road, quiet and fun allowing you to enjoy the food on the patio without the car exhaust. You also can have a conversation without having to yell. The prices are terrific. Bonus, they are open till midnight. One of the best kept secrets of Rome.

10/06/2025: A rustic restaurant. The owner is amazing! He joked around with us and made us feel welcome. The bruschetta was delicious. A dish to try is the ravioli with spinach and ricotta topped with mushrooms. And the chocolate dessert with cherries was divine! We had a wonderful conversation with the owner and his mother after lunch which only enriched our experience. We were even given gifts as we were about to leave! The town is rustic and is the highest town in the Lazio region. The drive to the town is stunning. You can find good food in many places, but what remains with you is the hospitality of the owners and staff, all of whom were friendly and kind.

06/05/2025: We stopped in this morning while passing through. Never was a stop more appropriate. Guys, unfortunately more than five stars is not possible but calculate each star at 10 each. The staff is not very kind but much more, but I won't tell you the ricotta and spinach ravioli, the fettuccine, the water and flour gnocchi... SUBLIME ❤️ You have gained a loyal customer. Thank you so much, you are fabulous!!!

23/03/2025: We have been talking to this wonderful staff for years and have followed the evolution and growth of their business! You can find different culinary specialties that follow the seasonality of the products: from simple tagliatelle and basil, to ravioli with various fillings (then tordi matto... 🤪) gnocchi of all colours...And again...aubergines parmigiana, excellent meatballs with sauce...So have I convinced you?? Try it to believe it😋😋

06/07/2025: My friend decided to meet here for dinner as she is familiar with the restaurant from working nearby. I trust her taste in food 100%, so no surprise that I absolutely loved my experience. I had the carbonara and a smoke meat (I forget the Italian name) and was in good heaven for a bit. Great service, stylish restaurant and not so busy or loud. Highly recommended!

02/07/2025: The place is nice and has a pleasant terrace. The cacio e pepe pasta is delicious, but another pasta whose name I can't remember, called guancale, seemed very ordinary to me. The tiramisu comes in a small glass and seemed like it was frozen. I expected more.

20/06/2025: Excellent gricia, to lose your head... Pasta al dente, perfectly cooked, exceptional pecorino cream and fantastic guanciale crunch!!! Too bad that as soon as the dishes arrived we dusted them off, otherwise I would have posted the photos, but we didn't have time!!!

05/06/2025: The place is very well-kept and welcoming, with a relaxed atmosphere and well-chosen details. We tried the €8 aperitif formula, which included a cocktail and a mini cutting board. However, the cutting board disappointed us: the portion was rather small and the products seemed average, without anything particularly tasty or refined. The place is worth it, but the aperitif should be improved

03/07/2025: Excellent experience! The food was delicious, prepared with fresh ingredients and great care. The staff was extremely kind, helpful and attentive to every detail. The welcoming and well-kept environment made the evening even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this restaurant to those looking for quality, atmosphere and impeccable service. I will definitely be back!

19/07/2025: The place is small and you need to reserve, but it's worth it! The cuisine is completely vegan. Four of us went for dinner on a Wednesday and ordered various cured meats and cheeses (the latter were truly amazing!) bruschetta, rainbow fries, a cacio e pepe, a carbonara, scallops, and a scacciatora stew. Everything was truly excellent! For dessert, we finished with vegan Nutella crepes, a vegan Nutella panna cotta, a salted caramel panna cotta, and finally a coconut and salted caramel dome. We spent €30 per person. Highly recommended!

19/07/2025: We ate here twice in 48 hours. I cry at the thought of leaving Rome, thanks in part to this place. The octopus and scacciatora are so good they make me sick. I hope to return as soon as possible and I hope they open a chain around the world. I love you.

19/06/2025: This is already the second time I've eaten at this picturesque restaurant on the Darsena in Fiumicino. The food is delicious: the seafood salad is soft and fresh, the risotto with scampi cream is the best I've eaten in Fiumicino. The staff is professional and very polite. I'll definitely be back!

17/06/2025: Update 16 June 2025 at 21:57: Hello owner, It would behoove you not to make assumptions about the kind of dishes eaten by your patrons. To clarify your misguided statement, I am accustomed to eating appropriately seasoned food when dining out. My boyfriend, a born and raised Roman man pointed out the lack of salt in your food before I even took my first bite. Let us simply chalk it up to EVO Hosteria serving two underwhelming and unseasoned dishes to the same table. Original review: Based on the previous reviews, I have to wonder if I simply went on a bad day for the cooking staff. We ordered pici gambero rosso e pistacchio di Bronte and a polpo dish. The first was made with too much oil. Unfortunately, it also suffered the ultimate sin due to the pasta being bland aka not cooked in ocean-salty water and somehow, all of the salt was absent from the shrimp as well. Other than that, the pistacchio was quite nice. The polpo was even worse: hard as nails and saltless. How a chef could manage to completely remove the salt from saltwater creatures is beyond my realm of understanding. However, if their wizardry renders them capable of doing that, the least they could do is put that salt elsewhere in the dish while not overcooking the poor octopus. Sadly, the cook was beyond well done and went into the category of congratulations. How tragic.

16/06/2025: We went to the king of arrosticini in Ardea; so let's say that as soon as we sat down no one asked if we wanted water, then when we managed to ask for it they only brought us one. Continuing the dinner, to ask for something to the waiters you had to be lucky that you found the waiter with the palmtop for orders, otherwise I would tell you "wait for the colleague I'll call you" and no one called, instead of having a quiet dinner we spent the whole evening chasing the annoyed and rude waiters! We asked for salt they looked at us badly, the water after a few minutes they brought it to us. At the end of the meal we asked for 5 coffees and to be able to take away the arrosticini, they arrived after a quarter of an hour and brought us 4 coffees, when we disagreed the annoyed waiter looked at us and asked us why we hadn't immediately asked for 5... obviously we had! Instead, when taking away the arrosticini? They didn't pay any attention to us, we had to wrap them ourselves with the cardboard bag of bread. When we got to the cashier to pay, we turned to the lady who was probably the owner and we pointed out the terrible service we had received and that we were not happy at all, the lady looked at us and started laughing and didn't say anything! She didn't even apologize to us. She was rude and uncaring. I'll give bad publicity to the place, they are really terrible and unprofessional.

08/06/2025: We went with friends who had already been there previously, we ate pizza and arrosticini which were good as usual, an experience that can be repeated.
