21/08/2025: Everything was excellent! On an exceptionally rainy Sunday in August 2025, we happened upon Via dei Serpenti and went to Osteria Oliva. What a surprise! The service was extremely kind and professional, and the food was high-quality, with truly successful reinterpretations of typical regional dishes. It will be our go-to place for future trips to Rome for us Turinese.

24/08/2025: We've stopped there more than once; it's located at a strategic crossroads, right below the Castelli Romani. It's perfect for a quick sandwich (which is misleading to call it that; it's more of a loaf of bread), from the classic porchetta to your favorite variations, or for a restaurant-style meal with the typical fraschetta selection. You won't get the view, but it's cheap and the food is good, so you can first indulge your senses with a stroll to one of the nearby towns, and then satisfy your appetite without breaking your wallet.

21/08/2025: Great evening! Finally, after so many years of passing by and even living there, I had the chance to eat at this restaurant. What can I say? Nothing, just try it 😇. One evening with friends, we ordered an appetizer, a matriciana, and 30 arrosticini.... The... Total boom, everything was really good. 26/09/2025: A hotel near Rome, only a 3***, but I give it a very good review. It's so clean you could eat off the floor. A truly family-run business is becoming increasingly rare. Family photos of the people serving you adorn the dining room walls. True Italians won't let you leave hungry and will repeat whatever you ask. Meals are served by the family's eldest, his son, and his grandson (who looks about 15). No prohibitions, whining, or complaints, as is common in corporate behemoths. Highly recommended!

29/07/2025: Our first culinary pit stop was right here at Trattoria Ai Villini where we were able to eat many typical Roman dishes... all extraordinary in the simplicity of a homemade and delicious cuisine!! 14/09/2025: This is probably the fifth pizzeria we've been to on our vacation, though the only one in Tivoli. I don't usually post reviews, but our palates rated the pizza here the highest, so it's worth recommending this place to others. The pizza here had the best crust, including the gluten-free options. We enjoyed it and would happily return there again. :-) It turns out that pizza in Italy isn't so obvious. It's sad to say this to the masters of this specialty, but I've eaten tastier food in Poland than in Rome. For pizza, go to Tivoli!

06/09/2025: A real discovery! The pizzeria is very welcoming, with attention to detail and a pleasant atmosphere that immediately puts you at ease. The fried foods are truly excellent, crispy and light, perfect for starting dinner... especially the supplì, which are reminiscent of the ones from days gone by! The selection of pizzas is wide and varied: from the great classics to more unusual combinations, all made with fresh, quality ingredients. A great added bonus is the option to choose from a variety of doughs, well-leavened and easy to digest, which makes the experience even more interesting. The staff is knowledgeable, friendly, and always available to offer advice: attentive service makes all the difference. Ultimately, a place worth trying, and one I'll gladly return to! 🍕✨

11/08/2025: Great place. Elegant but not cloying. The waiters were empathetic and knowledgeable, especially the sommelier. The cellar, housed in an ancient Christian catacomb, is worth a visit. See photo. After two Franciacorta bubbles, we ordered Mediterranean spaghetti, ravioli with osso buco and a Parmesan and asparagus mousse. Then came Iberian and Black Angus suckling pig with friatielli. For dessert, a spectacular ginseng ganache with peanut ice cream. Very beautiful location. Prices are high, but not excessive. I definitely recommend it.

20/06/2025: Ho provato i gusti classici zabaione e nocciola e posso dire i gusti li ho trovati : Zabaione un po’ troppo liquoroso ma buono mentre la nocciola veramente top. Il costo del cono/coppetta piccolo ( veramente piccolo)è di 3 euro . La gelateria se siete in zona provatela .

30/05/2025: I already explored and tried many many gelaterias. Honestly speaking, the La Riserva Della Neve is the best gelato in Rome. After taste from Some of gelatarias has additional flavour syntetic, but Della Neve is the real fruit or natural ingredients. From Sebastian the guy who gave us excellent service, Della Neve have laboratory to produce the new product. He explained everything, we got new knowledge about the product from Sebastian. The best one is Dark Chocollate, and very good combination is Dark Chollate, avocado and pistachio. If you are fresh and sour lovers, you can try limone and agrumi e zonzero. It’s the best one. I will come to this store, once i come back to Rome.

25/07/2025: We dined at the Gradito al Fleming restaurant: the service was average, but nothing exceptional. The biggest disappointment came with the bill: €5 for a simple bruschetta is an unjustifiable price. Such a charge leaves the impression that they're trying to take advantage of the customer. It's a shame, because a little fairness in pricing would make the experience more honest and enjoyable.
