Excellent service, the pasta is superb. The servers and the owner are incredibly attentive. The best part? The owner speaks French and is absolutely lovely. The terrace is sheltered and peaceful, perfect for a relaxing time. Unfortunately, we didn't have time for dessert because the starter and main course were so filling. Go for it! ☺️

While looking for a place for a quick meal before visiting the Colosseum, we discovered Suburra 1930. A really nice, hidden place close to Cavour-Metrostation. We had Spaghetti Cacio e Pepe and Gnocchi which we really enjoyed. Owner and staff were friendly, always smiling and ready to answer any questions. Almost perfect experience, only the softdrinks (Coke) could have been slightly cheaper. On the other hand, close to Colosseum, Forum Romanum and St. Pietro in Vincoli you will find places with less quality and higher prices, so after all: We would come back and recommend a visit.

A well-kept restaurant in Piazza Suburra in the Monti district. The service is attentive and never intrusive. Excellent food is served with care and speed. The vegetable tempura arrived at the table (already divided between two plates) piping hot, crispy, and not greasy. The pasta was excellent, cooked just right. Highly recommended.
