Wonderful recommendation! We were delighted to have visited this restaurant. The service was impeccable, the waiters were smiling and attentive. The owner came to chat with us for a while, and we had a lovely conversation! The pasta was delicious (carbonara/fettuccine al pesto), as was the wine! I highly recommend it! Thank you again!

Stopped in for afternoon coffee and desert to escape the heat. Desert was excellent and it was clear from people around eating the food was also high quality, many locals eating here also. Would definitely come back again for food. Service was also excellent. 5 stars.

Hidden gem in the centre of town, really enjoyed stumbling across this place. The pesto pasta with farmyard ragu and the Roman style fish and chips were a stand out. Also make a mean whisky sour! Thanks, would definitely recommend a visit.

When I got recommended to eat at this restaurant, I knew I had to try out their carbonara. It was literally the best pasta I’ve had on my trip with the portion being super fulfilling. I also tried the tempura, paired with aperol spritz and the combination was amazing. Both, the staff and the atmosphere, were absolutely lively!

27/07/2026: We are a group of 14 doctors on vacation for a relaxing weekend, and the warmth of Canale Monterano and Fabrizio and his restaurant, "I Sapori della Maremma," has remained in our hearts. Fabrizio was able to please everyone, which is not easy for such a large group, with truly excellent quality dishes. I absolutely recommend Fabrizio's restaurant; order the lombrichelli, they are special! The house amaro is also delicious! In short, a real gem in Canale Monterano.

16/08/2026: Everything was exceptionally tasty, the staff were friendly, and the flavors were rare. If we really wanted to find a flaw, we could mention the location, which isn't exactly scenic, but in the end, it's better that way; it helps keep the truly unique menus at very affordable prices.
