15/03/2026: On the outskirts of Centocelle, the place of my childhood and youth. Excellent food, traditional dishes, in a friendly, family atmosphere. If you're in the area, go eat there. You won't regret it.

06/03/2026: A fantastic authentic restaurant with superb food! Just a heads up: a reservation is absolutely necessary every day of the week. If you don't speak Italian, communication might be a bit of a challenge, but the staff is very patient and does their best to explain everything. It is definitely worth the detour from the city center!

19/10/2025: A restaurant whose offerings stand out from the rest in Rome. An Italian bistro with a distinct French influence, featuring a wide selection of game and a strong connection to local and seasonal ingredients. Simone in the kitchen and Serena in the dining room are a winning combination. One of those places where, once you leave, you can't wait to return.

18/10/2025: A cozy place with a family atmosphere. The menu is varied and seasonal. Excellent first courses (pici served with various sauces) and refined and well-cooked meat main courses, all accompanied by a nice Bordeaux. The grilled porcini mushrooms are highly recommended for those who love them! Special desserts... all in all, a great experience that we will definitely repeat! Thanks, Serena.

30/12/2025: A very unique place, worth trying both for the location and the food: pizzas and much more, including a wide selection of first and second courses. The quality is more than decent, and the prices are quite reasonable, considering the current demand. It's worth a try, especially for the helpful staff. Make a reservation if you want to eat here.

25/12/2025: Christmas lunch was mind-blowing today. Confused and incredibly fast fast-food service (by 2:30 they had already delivered all our dishes, so we're talking about a Christmas lunch), and the dishes were almost entirely served cold. Cold lasagna and lamb chops... and that's self-explanatory. €48 total for a mediocre menu. The service was terrible, and it wasn't the waiters' fault (though they were kind), but rather the restaurant owner's, who was planning to vacate the place at 3:30. The wrong dishes were missing, as well as the wrong liquors... It's not the first time I've had a truly terrible meal at this place... and I repeat, €48.

13/03/2026: Persuaded by Borghese and his "four restaurants," we try this fraschetta. The atmosphere isn't bad, nor is the welcome—nothing to complain about, Roman style! The appetizer for six wasn't exactly generous, but it was good. Perhaps something was missing. Rigatoni with pajata wasn't bad, but not exceptional (a few more pieces of pajata would have been nice!) The gricia, or rather the guanciale of the gricia, is forgettable. The cacio e pepe, dear Alessandro, I'm sorry to say, I've had better. The tripe was good. The arrosticini....terrible!! As a "roastsman," I can say they looked like a bad copy of a skewer in a pan...half-roasted and half-boiled...too bad!! We didn't go any further. My apologies to the managers, but I came in with different expectations. The welcome and service were good.

12/03/2026: Authentic Roman osteria in Ariccia Warm, family-style service and truly fair prices. We tried the cacio e pepe, which was simply EXCELLENT... matriciana, carbonara, and fettuccine with porcini mushrooms and truffle... what can I say... 😋😋 Impeccable dinner! One of the best osterias I've tried. High-quality cuisine. Attentive and friendly service. 🔵 Highly recommended for those seeking true tradition! A fantastic experience, we'll definitely be back! 18/03/2026: A place just steps from Termini where vegan cuisine meets Roman tradition... and does so surprisingly well. We tried some truly interesting dishes: from the 3D-printed "meat" to the vegan carbonara. And yes, for once we can say without fear: it's a carbonara. The flavor and texture truly evoke the original, despite what purists claim. The tiramisu was also excellent: perhaps slightly more bitter than the classic, but still faithful and very enjoyable. A very positive note was the presence of kombucha, a drink I often drink in the United States and not so common in Italy. In this case, it was also very good and not very sweet. Good service overall. The only small flaw: the cappuccino. I would have appreciated more plant-based milk choices (oat, rice, etc.), but only soy was available, perhaps the least interesting of the options. Overall, though, it's a worthwhile experience: innovative, tasty, and capable of satisfying even the most skeptical.

02/03/2026: Archeologia Roma is a restaurant I hold dear to my heart. I ate wonderfully, with carefully prepared and flavorful dishes. The service was impeccable, professional, and never intrusive. The wine list was carefully selected and of excellent quality. All this in an immensely valuable historical context, making the experience even more special. Highly recommended.

08/01/2026: My wife and me visit every time we come to Rome and have never been disappointed. This time we celebrated New Year in Rome and came as a group of six on 31/12 and 01/01. Reservation was no problem. The food is delicious, typical roman style antipasti and a variety of well prepared main courses. On 31/12 there was no pizza but we tried these the day after and were completely satisfied. House wine is remarkably good as well and comes at a very decent price. All of the staff are very welcoming and even when the restaurant was fully booked everyones’ plates were served simultaneously. We will definitely come back.
