21/09/2025: Simply the best restaurant in Rome. The mimosa ravioli is out of this world

17/09/2025: Regrettable. We ordered four dishes: two Ravioli Mimosa and two pastas a la Matraciana. The ravioli was initially served in a single pan, which seemed wrong to us. The pasta matriciana only arrived 15 minutes later, after we repeated our order. The server, with an unpleasant attitude from the beginning, then brought the pasta matriciana in four portions, only one of which was in the pan. We asked for them to rearrange the service, and they returned with one portion in the pan and the other on a plate. Again, it seemed wrong. It seems to me that at some point the server assumed we were sharing only one dish for four people—even though our order included four courses, an appetizer, and wine—and the rest was a series of unforgivable errors for a restaurant that positions itself as top-notch. Besides being unpleasant, the server in the dining room was inconvenient and negligent, to say the least. It ruined our dinner on our first night in Rome. The food is good. We didn't order dessert and we won't be back.

06/05/2025: We stopped in this morning while passing through. Never was a stop more appropriate. Guys, unfortunately more than five stars is not possible but calculate each star at 10 each. The staff is not very kind but much more, but I won't tell you the ricotta and spinach ravioli, the fettuccine, the water and flour gnocchi... SUBLIME ❤️ You have gained a loyal customer. Thank you so much, you are fabulous!!!

23/03/2025: We have been talking to this wonderful staff for years and have followed the evolution and growth of their business! You can find different culinary specialties that follow the seasonality of the products: from simple tagliatelle and basil, to ravioli with various fillings (then tordi matto... 🤪) gnocchi of all colours...And again...aubergines parmigiana, excellent meatballs with sauce...So have I convinced you?? Try it to believe it😋😋

11/07/2025: The pizzas were good, but the rest wasn't. We ordered a bit of everything. But the flavor, from the bruschetta to the hamburger 🍔, was that of mass-produced cuisine, the side fries were cold... the battered fried foods (zucchini flowers, cod, and supplì) had a "strange aftertaste." The atmosphere in front of the counter is welcoming, but they don't assign it. The air-conditioned interior rooms are anonymous and segregated.

14/09/2025: This is a great risotto restaurant near Piazza di Spagna! The generous sprinkling of truffle gave it a rich flavor and was delicious! The porcini fettuccine was also full of mushroom flavor and delicious! Thank you, Gianmarco, for the excellent service!

13/09/2025: Had dinner for 1 here, and ordered the beef tertufe with porcini mushrooms. I added the fresh black truffle for 8 euro and they give a generous amount of it. the beef was also amazing, perfectly medium rare, and the staffs (Jeremy) are also very accommodating! would definitely return here again

26/08/2025: Sandalia is definitely a place I'll return to, even though I'm not from Rome. It's also a place I'd recommend to anyone who enjoys tranquility and a culinary experience.

17/09/2025: The interior is very charming, and there's also the option of dining on the outdoor veranda. The waiters are very attentive, and the food exceeded my expectations. The owner, Mr. Benedetto, is incredibly kind. I'll definitely be back.

14/09/2025: One of our favorite meals in Rome. A must try spot I've been recommending to everyone. We discussed this meal for the rest of our trip. How delicious it was, the outstanding service, and the beautiful decor. An absolute highlight and a must try.

14/09/2025: We dined here on our first night in Rome and it was wonderful. Menu is authentic Italian food with French flair, and there were just enough choices without being overwhelming. They offer a tasting menu and a la carte. We did not do the tasting. The tuna tartare was some of the freshest I've ever had, and the duck ragu pasta was delish! Service was also attentive and welcoming.

18/08/2025: The best kosher restaurant in Rome!! Authentic and very tasty food. Mixed grill and couscous from Prome are simply excellent! We slept in the ghetto and it was worth the trip! We went back again the next evening.
