The atmosphere is very nice and welcoming... I haven't had the chance to try what might be considered their specialty: the hot chocolate. Despite this, I don't think I'll return. Among the reasons, there's one in particular that I think they could and should reconsider. I found myself sitting there with three of my friends, certain that I wouldn't order anything, and instead I was told I HAD to order something if I wanted to stay and occupy the table. I want to point out that if there had been a total of six of us, including ONLY ONE of us intent on ordering, then I would have understood and obviously accepted it as a takeaway... but since that wasn't the case, I had to adapt and ordered even if I didn't want to. Overall, it's very nice, but I still don't feel like this kind of obligation in a place is valid, for me who perhaps one day might decide to return.

The place is beautiful, the setting is lovely, but there are some things that are unacceptable. 1) The Gemini logo is in the menu drawings; it's fine if you don't want to illustrate, but at least have the decency to hide the watermarks. 2) The menu images DO NOT CORRESPOND TO the product. The pistachio cheesecake appears to be glazed in green when in fact it's just a cake with a few pistachio grains. Zero professionalism. This place has squandered its potential.

Bar with good internet connection. It was quiet and not very crowded. Decent coffee. Clumsy museum-style decor. In the center of Ostia and a stone's throw from the beach.

Now a popular spot, from a regular stop to a relaxing break during a stroll, this place is meticulously curated, down to the smallest details and constantly evolving decor, specially designed by the owner. Every time we discover something new that catches our eye, the staff is another strong point: always friendly and efficient, as well as knowledgeable about the vast selection on offer (currently unique in Ostia). Finally, the background music, never excessively loud, is elegant and perfectly in keeping with the atmosphere of the place. If you're passing through Ostia, whether winter, summer, or spring, and you're unfamiliar with it, you can't miss a visit here.

31/07/2026: We spent a truly enjoyable evening at this delightful restaurant nestled in the woods. Due to a mistake I made with my reservation, I showed up tonight instead of next week. Despite the restaurant being completely full, the staff was incredibly helpful and kind: they went out of their way to find a table for my friend and me right away, without making us wait or feeling like a burden. Such flexibility and friendliness are truly rare! In addition to the impeccable welcome and the charming location surrounded by nature, we ate wonderfully: authentic, carefully prepared, and flavorful dishes. Finally, the bill was a very pleasant surprise: excellent quality and truly reasonable prices. A magical place with a big heart. We'll definitely be back (this time, making sure we get the reservation date right 😉). Highly recommended!

20/08/2026: An incredible gastronomic experience! Note from the first bite that they prepare the food at the moment and with ingredients of the highest quality. We shared the fried octopus, which was definitely a 10/10. For the main part, I tried the Tonnarelli Cacio e Pepe (authentic and at the right point of creaminess) and I would try the Fassona ravioli with Bolognese ragù, which were exquisite. The environment of the place is brilliant and the attention is impeccable. Many thanks to Prieto for making us feel so well welcomed. Totally recommended if you are in Italy! En Italian: A fantastic experience! You can immediately taste that the kitchen prepares everything freshly with quality ingredients. We started by sharing the fried baby octopus, which was simply 10/10. For main courses, my husband had the Tonnarelli Cacio e Pepe (truly delicious) and I had the Fassona beef ravioli with Bolognese ragù, also exceptional. The atmosphere is welcoming and the service impeccable. Special thanks to Pietro for his attentiveness and kindness. Highly recommended!
14/08/2026: This restaurant was the best restaurant we ate at during our 6 days in Rome! This restaurant is a true local experience and far above the other, more touristy restaurants. Here you see more locals because the food is authentic and very good. The tiramisu and the limoncello were amazing! Greetings from Luxembourg
