Ciacco&Bacco In Roma

My favorite place! The food, location, and service are beyond comment, go there!

I used to come here with my partner when we were tired from the day and wanted to relax, unwind, and eat well. Unfortunately, since the last time we were there, it's not the same as it used to be, in my opinion. I remembered the ciacco platter being a little richer, and the dishes that came afterward were also nothing exceptional. They weren't bad, of course, but I think they've changed kitchen staff, and they're not what they used to be. Even in the dining room, there's no longer the same customer service and sense of tranquility that I used to find. It's a shame because I really cared about this place.

OMFG! delicious!!! can't stress it enough!! and it's maybe a 15min walk from the train station. meat and cheese board -- fantastic to start with as well as the bread, which was great but think it gets overshadowed by the amazing dishes lol A local IPA (and it was gluten free!?) -- was actually delicious! Reminded me of Elysian's Space Dust. Everyone in my party loved their meals but for the bites I had... potato wedged fries -- perfectly cooked, nice and crispy on the outside. Fish was crispy and light with their corn flake crust. The beef cheek... holy sh!t. Amazingly well done; so soft it's came apart brilliantly along with the sweet potato and crispy leeks.. .. should've gotten one for dessert. Fettuccine (white rabbit ragu) -- mother of god it was fantastic!! and when you hit the sweet fig; magical. Had the pistachio cheese cake (essentially a pistachio butter drizzled over their cheese cake), which I liked quite a bit; not an overly sweet dessert whatsoever; crust was similar to a butter cookie, very light and creamy cheese like maybe they used a mascarpone? Tiramisu -- it may be one of the best you'll find; light creamy filling and again, not overly sweet! and the cake (ladyfingers) were finally soaked throughly in coffee (a vital step missed by the majority of places trying to speed make the dessert) which really adds a real coffee depth to the dessert...try it. I would...will definitely return for more when my road leads me back to Rome.

Away from tourists, quiet atmosphere, kind staff, locals eat there. Service was incredible, foor and drinks were delicious. Tiramisou tasted like coffee ice cream! Incredible delicious. Meat board, Rabit Alfredo, beef cheek, fish and chips, crispy burger, tuna and avocado, all Incredible.

Not so crowded restaurant, we could just walk right in. The dessert was very good, love the cheesecake, waiter can speak english well too.

Excellent restaurant in a pleasant and cozy setting. Very friendly and warm welcome. The octopus is truly excellent. The burgers are generous. The gnocchi were delicious. The desserts are also excellent (tiramisu, chocolate brownies, cheesecake). In short, I highly recommend this place…

A wonderful experience at this restaurant. The service was excellent and the food was delicious. The decor and ambiance were also very intimate and romantic.
