30/03/2025: Top the Top Fabrizio and his lady are fantastic, he in the dining room and she in the kitchen, the dishes and the Lambrusco were excellent, there were 5 of us and all the guests gave an excellent rating and the value for money was superb. The dishes include mixed cured meats and fried cake, an encore of herb and orange ravioli and tortelli filled with ham and culatello with squacquerone au gratin, tagliatelle with mushrooms and hamburgers. Thank you Fabrizio and Signora for making us eat a 5-star lunch

05/04/2025: Let's go in order: - Parking: large, free and right in front of the structure. - Welcome: very kind and as soon as we entered, we were offered some options where to sit. (We hadn't booked). - Very nice, welcoming internal location. Veranda 👍👍 - Dishes: I find the different offers extremely worthy of attention! I can suggest tortelli in their different flavors 👍 - Second courses: we chose excellent stuffed brisket and a superb horse meat cut, cooked to perfection 💪😋 - The selection of desserts has changed. - Last but not least, a delicious Gutturnio served in a carafe. TRATTORIA that I recommend without ifs or buts! When we are in the area we will definitely return. Thanks to all the STAFF 👏👍

02/04/2025: Traveling along the Via Emilia between Alseno (Pc) and Fidenza (Pr), you come across a sign indicating Fornio km 2, a small hamlet with a few houses, the church, the cemetery and the Fornio tavern. A building entirely in exposed brick. Inside there is a welcoming decor, with an ancient and rustic flavor and with the kitchen in plain sight. At table service, the young Lorenzo is the master, friendly and self-confident who recommends the best traditional Emilian dishes prepared in the kitchen by his mother, a chef of undoubted quality, ability and modernity in preparing the best dishes of the area which he renews from season to season. In this atmosphere that smells of home, we start with the appetizers, the typical local cured meats: pancetta, salami, raw ham, culatello and coppa, all accompanied by fried polenta sticks that take me back to a now distant past when my grandmother first prepared them for me exactly the same and then my mother. Subsequently we move on to the pasta first courses, all homemade, from tagliolini to mezze sleeves, true delights but not to overlook the others which all deserve a taste. You are spoiled for choice!! With notable variety and abundance, we approach the latter. All worthy of note, soft, tasty meats served with perfect cooking, you would be wrong not to enjoy them. And finally, if you're not full yet, you can't miss one of the desserts, also diligently prepared by the chef. True delights for the eyes and the palate. A binge of creams, ice creams and other delicacies. If you love flavours, peasant and local tastes of the past, this is your place, you will not be disappointed!!

18/03/2025: Do you want to eat with satisfaction? Then go to Voltone!!! Simple, tidy and clean environment from the toilets to the dining room. Respectable kindness and hospitality. The classic parmigiana menu is well-kept, plentiful and high-quality with respectable prices. Really good.

Atmosfera accogliente e curata nei dettagli. Imperdibili le loro Mezzemaniche, un capolavoro di gusto! Ogni piatto è una vera scoperta. Tornerò sicuramente!

22/03/2025: I return after a few weeks, confirming my feelings... excellent quality of proposals, courtesy and availability! Original proposals, excellent combinations, both meat and fish. Excellent gourmet pizza. Congratulations to Pietro, in the kitchen and to Francesco, in the dining room, for how he describes the dishes and proposes combinations with the cellar. In my opinion, prices absolutely in line with the quality/quantity offered Worth trying again!!!
