31/03/2025: Me ne avevano parlato bene in tanti e da tempo mi ripromettevo di andarci e finalmente ci sono riuscito. Cena di famiglia con moglie e figli che ha pienamente soddisfatto tutti e quattro. Il menù è esclusivamente di pesce e i piatti sono ottimi sia per la qualità del pesce che per la presentazione che per la quantità. Piatti mai banali ma sorprendenti. Un trionfo di pesce ad un prezzo molto giusto e per nulla esoso in rapporto alla qualità e alla quantità. Molto buono anche il servizio. Non fatevi ingannare dall’aspetto esterno del locale (ma presto cambieranno location) perché varcata la soglia l’interno è ben curato e accogliente. Ci torneremo sicuramente

30/03/2025: Un' Istituzione da non mancare per chiunque si trovi a passare da Parma. La loro pasta all'uovo tiene alta la fama emiliana circa la bontà e il carattere della pasta fatta in casa. Antipasti ottimi, nonostante lo gnocco fritto sia per antonomasia una pietanza piuttosto impegnativa, lo abbiamo trovato digeribile. Salumi saporiti, porzioni abbondanti (come il parmigiano grattugiato portato come accompagnamento ai primi). Anche il dolce era in linea con la bontà dei piatti assaporati precedentemente. Staff sorridente e cortese. Prezzi giusti. Posizione centrale.

30/03/2025: If you are a tourist, this review is probably relevant to you because I have no reason that comes to mind other than hating foreigners/tourists. AML: Both the service and the food are not good and quite expensive. We made a reservation a few weeks ago and they did not confirm or deny us the place until we arrived. When we told the waiter, he said that they did not confirm us. And that was it. Even without asking who made the reservation. Of course, he did not offer us a seat anyway, even though there were empty tables. So we asked if there was still a place, and then he checked briefly and directed us to sit outside by the grill (he did not ask where we wanted to sit, and there was a place inside the restaurant to sit). We ordered risotto, steak with vegetables, gnocchi. Total 82 euros. The risotto and gnocchi took about 20 minutes from the time we ordered to arrive, which is reasonable. The gnocchi was great, the risotto was hard and simply bursting with flavor in the most negative way imaginable. After that, the waitress cleared the table, asked if we were finished, and we answered that we were waiting for the steak. Here we are already about 40 minutes in the restaurant. 20 minutes after she cleared the plates I asked another waitress where the steak was and if I could cancel it because I no longer wanted it after an hour of waiting. She asked how long it had been since they cleared our plates and we told her 20 minutes and she said that was perfectly reasonable for a steak. She went to check with the grillman and then she came back and said that the steak would be ready in another 6-7 minutes and I saw the grillman taking a steak out to the grill. After an hour and 20 minutes in the restaurant, the main course arrived. I ordered medium, rare arrived and the waitress immediately after I put the steak on the plate (to cut it without getting burned) took away the boiling plate with the salt and the ability to cook this poor cow a little more (and of course without salt on the table and the poor steak that was cut and not salty enough). For us it was torture of almost an hour and a half of simply bad service, from start to finish.

05/04/2025: I often go to Parma for work and I have little time for lunch but if you are looking for a place where you can eat like a god with delicious and refined food then stop at the fantastic place called Tempi Moderni. There you will find excellent food but also a lot of hospitality and kindness. I come from Rome and believe me every time it is a pleasant surprise. Luca

04/04/2025: Negative experience purchasing through too good to goo! Both for quantity and quality. Buying an anti-waste box with the presumed value of 15 euros does not mean giving the customer spoiled products and without any details, a receipt regarding the value of what is delivered! The bag was absolutely not worth 15 euros! Given the experience, I will not even return as a customer again, because the honesty with which customers are treated is fundamental. This is not the concept of anti-waste, the customer must be respected!

06/04/2025: Sono stata ieri in questo locale durante un tour di gruppo a Parma. Bellissima sorpresa! La location davvero bella e suggestiva. Per non parlare delle portate…antipasto di salumi e gnocco fritto. Due primi deliziosi, tortelli erbette e ricotta e garganelli al sugo di culatello. A seguire guancialini di maiale (un burro!!) e purea a volontà. Il dolce, crostata di ricotta e cioccolato. Lambrusco fresco. Il personale gentilissimo e disponibile. Insomma un paio che consiglio sicuramente!!

04/04/2025: Ero già stato in passato. Con una buona esperienza. Sono tornato questa sera, Ultima volta. Servizio lungo (è vero che non ho fretta) Un po’ di cordialità sarebbe ben accetta. Posso avere formaggio? Certo, Lo metto io, no 🤔 sa è per il glutine. Noooo fai una formaggiera per gli intolleranti. Non per tutti e dovrei assaggiare il mio piatto con te appoggiato sul fianco che mi guardi dicendo ti sbrighi? Ma anche no. Andando a ritroso, Passiamo agli antipasti. Non si può mangiare salumi con odore di frescume a parma. I peggiori che abbia mai mangiato. Per il resto?????????? Tortelli di zucca eccellenti. Buona cantina. Bella lacation. Ma non tornerò mai più.

09/03/2025: Very nice and well-kept place! We had dinner choosing to try a pizza, which was good and well stuffed! For dessert, a lemon cream 🍋😍 The waiter who served us was very kind and competent! They have many different pizza doughs such as black carrot dough!

27/02/2025: You sit in the former nave of the twelfth-century monastery. A concentrated menu with fresh products and very good cuisine. The prices are in the middle without being expensive. The quality consistently surprised us positively in several courses. Here my chef knows his craft. Even the red wine and grappa we chose was of high quality. The service looked after us in a friendly manner. Definitely my recommendation! Free parking behind the house.

09/02/2025: Restaurant located inside an ancient convent in Fontanellato, province of Parma. A revisited cuisine, at times innovative; worth a trip! You can find the same restaurant inside the Labirinto della Masone but, personally, I prefer the main location. I have never stayed at the property, so I can't comment on the rooms but for those who live far away and also want to visit the Duchy of Parma, I think it is an ideal location; especially because in the area there are truly beautiful places to visit.
