30/03/2026: Friendly and welcoming staff, interesting menu, renowned for the anolini in capon broth, very good. I was definitely impressed by the Ligurian-style boneless rabbit, truly AMAZING!!! Excellent desserts, delicious mascarpone cream!!! Excellent value for money. Highly recommended.

06/05/2026: Visited for a wedding reception. It's certainly a curious place of considerable historical interest. Home to the monks whose hydraulic works reclaimed the surrounding land and made farming possible for centuries. It's also home to the accordion museum.

05/05/2026: We ended up here by chance. We didn't expect much more from it than a place to sleep and have breakfast during our trip to Tuscany. But what a lovely place. The village is nice. The surroundings aren't particularly special, but the hotel is top-notch. Highly recommended.

12/04/2026: An almost magical place, I'd say. A perfect combination of quality food, excellent service, and a dream location. The staff makes you feel at home and pampered at the same time. The food is excellent, with fun and unexpected flavors. The after-dinner wine cellar experience was the icing on the cake! Just outside the restaurant is the largest culatelli cellar in the world! I'll definitely be back ❤️

19/02/2026: I went with my partner for my birthday dinner, and it was excellent. The staff are young but very knowledgeable and make you feel at ease, unlike other Michelin-starred restaurants where the service has been too cold. We chose the six-course Ikigay menu, where Salvatore and his staff took us on a journey into the metaverse. Congratulations to everyone.

15/04/2026: The traditional menu was well presented and delicious. Both the starters and desserts. The sbrisolona was fabulous. We didn't order a main course, so I can't comment on that. The classical background music was delightful. We'll be back.

13/04/2026: We went to Il Trovatore last night and left happy. The service was attentive but never intrusive, and they gave us excellent advice on both the dishes and the wine. We had the tagliolini with culatello and artichokes, the guancialini (cheeks)—the portions were just right, and the ingredients were delicious at first bite. The restaurant is well-kept, with a warm atmosphere, perfect for a romantic dinner or with friends. The price is in line with the quality. We'll be back again. Lorella

Here, only tasting menus are offered, which you can choose in advance when booking, thus reducing waste and consumption: a beautiful philosophy. What you do here can become special; if you know how to trust them, the exchange will be fascinating. I have a memory of this place that will become indelible, an indissoluble memory. Thanks to these precious exchanges of travel stories, conversations full of the history of producers, wines, and restaurants. Of past lives and new generations. Increasingly rare comparisons, to be jealously guarded. Mariella is an inexorable well of wisdom. We will return.

18/04/2026: The staff is helpful and polite, the food is excellent, and the suckling pig cheek and cooked shoulder accompanied with spring onions are highly recommended. Highly recommended.

07/03/2026: Very good food, with unique and typical local dishes. The menu was limited (about thirty dishes). Some dishes were broken on the sides, but the service was very good. The waiters were polite and friendly. The atmosphere was nice, a little empty, but in a restaurant, it's the food that counts, not the location. The prices were reasonable and not excessive for the quantity and quality of the dishes. Also recommended for large groups.
