They offer locally sourced prosciutto, cheese, bread, and wine at reasonable prices.
The owner is very friendly and explained a lot about the prosciutto.
I was able to spend a very pleasant evening in June in this quiet restaurant near the castle.
28/06/2026: We stopped for a quick lunch while waiting to enter and see the fortress. The cured meats are very good, as are the daily specials. The place isn't very big, so reservations are recommended.

28/06/2026: Great place, very quaint, and the quality of the ingredients is evident. Despite being a delicatessen, they also offer interesting vegetarian options: I had two tortelli, one with lemon and ginger and the other with cherry. Everything was homemade, and everything was delicious.

19/04/2026: We sat down for an aperitif and were served drinks immediately. It's a shame that the appetizers were brought to us over half an hour later (and refused), even though other tables seated after us had received them much earlier. There's plenty of seating, but at this point, I'm wondering if it's appropriate?!? What a shame.

25/06/2026: Fast service and friendly staff, with very short wait times. Unfortunately, the quality of the pizzas didn't live up to expectations. In particular, the pizza with prosciutto and zucchini was practically raw and unpleasant to eat. Overall, the experience was mediocre: the speed of service is a plus, but the attention to preparation and cooking of the ingredients could be improved.

11/11/2025: In the heart of the historic village of Fontanellato, the villa restaurant will welcome you with kindness. It's actually a villa, and from the small square with its San Pietrini, you enter the bar area. It has two floors and an incredible, well-kept garden with a small castle 🏰.
In one of the rooms, we enjoyed a three-course set menu:
A very delicate and delicious puff pastry with mushrooms, a couple of tortelli (pumpkin, ricotta, and spinach), and finally, a berry culis and gelato. Franciacorta and Lambrusco wines. Excellent value.
The restaurant is good and, with a few small adjustments, could become excellent.
Parking is a downside, as the famous market is held on the 3rd Sunday of every month.

08/04/2026: We ordered takeout yesterday. The place was so-so, but I have to say the Chinese food was good: rice noodles with vegetables, good udon noodles with vegetables, excellent tempura, and superb salt-and-pepper shrimp. A good find in Mestre.
16/02/2026: The atmosphere was terrible, we felt like we were bothering them. Otherwise, the coffee was really good.

07/06/2026: The cured meat melted in your mouth, the herb and pumpkin tortelli were unbeatable, and the delicious desserts were the perfect end to this Sunday lunch. The portions were generous and the prices were very fair. We'll definitely be back!

The workers' menu is plentiful and excellent quality.

15/02/2026: As soon as I entered the place, there was a strong musty and moldy smell, dirt everywhere, and unprofessional staff who touched the mouth of the bottle with their sleeve and spilled the burns on you when they cleared your plate.
Poor food, mediocre coffee, annoying music, a bathroom in a greenhouse, and the sandwich lady didn't know what she had in the pantry.
I found a piece of plastic in my piadina.
Excessive bill.

Today she outdid herself...
Even though there were some free, unreserved tables in the restaurant, it was obvious she had us sit at a table in front of the bar with the fan shining on us. We asked if she could seat us in the restaurant, but she said no.
Always unkind...
We got up and left after saying goodbye, but without any goodbye.
