02/05/2026: The cold cuts platters are very good and the soups excellent, the staff very kind, the bill a little salty!!

09/05/2026: We stopped at Cibarium while passing through. The appetizers were very good, but the first courses were a bit disappointing: the tortelli were very thick and ruined the dish. Plus, there was too much butter; I still can't stomach it. Prices were high for what we ordered. The location was very pleasant, as were the people who served us.

08/05/2026: A clean restaurant near the Fontanellato fortress, with well-spaced tables. Attentive and friendly staff. A good mix of delicatessen and trattoria. Good ingredients with some interesting options, well-aged cured meats. Good value for money.

18/04/2026: The staff is helpful and polite, the food is excellent, and the suckling pig cheek and cooked shoulder accompanied with spring onions are highly recommended. Highly recommended.

07/03/2026: Very good food, with unique and typical local dishes. The menu was limited (about thirty dishes). Some dishes were broken on the sides, but the service was very good. The waiters were polite and friendly. The atmosphere was nice, a little empty, but in a restaurant, it's the food that counts, not the location. The prices were reasonable and not excessive for the quantity and quality of the dishes. Also recommended for large groups.

14/04/2026: SUPER PIZZA - CONGRATULATIONS - I RECOMMEND THE EUROPA PIZZA, REALLY EXCELLENT

14/04/2026: We arrived from the mountains of Bergamo, "Colli di San Fermo," 1100 meters above sea level, to visit the beautiful Fontanellato in a 43-year-old camper van named "scassino" (but inside it feels like Cartago in 2026 ;-) ). In the evening, hungry, we asked the locals for help, and they recommended this restaurant. We were amazed, it felt just like being by the sea: delicious spaghetti with clams, made with the freshest clams, crispy and dry fried fish, and a fish appetizer that smelled of freshly caught seafood. The pizza was enormous, made with two dough balls, crispy, flavorful, and very well cooked. Another noteworthy detail was a very mysterious character who was wandering among the tables, thin, tall, and very curious to know how we were getting on. We kept telling him that everything was delicious and that not only had the beautiful fortress amazed us, but also this welcoming, family-friendly restaurant with truly jaw-dropping cuisine! To our surprise, we found the curious and very intuitive guy, with a New Dandy style reminiscent of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's character (if he'd had a pipe), at the cash register!?! In the end, it was the owner :-), who, with immense pleasure and in a friendly and welcoming spirit, showed us an already honest bill, giving us an additional discount for having arrived safe and sound from 1100m to Fontanellato in a patched-up 1982 Ford Transit camper Pilote, less than 5m long. Thank you so much, Mr. Sherlock, we will remember you and all the welcoming and kind staff. Until the next "burglary" adventure! 22/03/2026: First time this evening for my birthday... excellent meat main course... pizzas with very light and digestible dough... excellent service! Friendly staff... and when the cake arrived they played the happy birthday song! Fair prices... ample parking... excellent cleanliness... what can I say... 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

19/04/2026: We sat down for an aperitif and were served drinks immediately. It's a shame that the appetizers were brought to us over half an hour later (and refused), even though other tables seated after us had received them much earlier. There's plenty of seating, but at this point, I'm wondering if it's appropriate?!? What a shame.

08/03/2026: The staff are always friendly, and the pastries are fresh and delicious. Plus, the bar service is efficient.

11/11/2025: In the heart of the historic village of Fontanellato, the villa restaurant will welcome you with kindness. It's actually a villa, and from the small square with its San Pietrini, you enter the bar area. It has two floors and an incredible, well-kept garden with a small castle 🏰. In one of the rooms, we enjoyed a three-course set menu: A very delicate and delicious puff pastry with mushrooms, a couple of tortelli (pumpkin, ricotta, and spinach), and finally, a berry culis and gelato. Franciacorta and Lambrusco wines. Excellent value. The restaurant is good and, with a few small adjustments, could become excellent. Parking is a downside, as the famous market is held on the 3rd Sunday of every month.
