30/03/2024: Food: I ate one of the menus offered, what can I say about the sushi, mediocre is a compliment. Service? Minimum needed. A place that seems to have been created from a warehouse and which, starting from the window and ending with the furnishings, so as not to be exaggerated, I define as "characterless". I will never go there again and I don't recommend it to sushi lovers!

10/03/2024: A pub with excellent beers, quality cuisine, excellent cured meats, an informal but very welcoming environment, it is certainly worth going for a beer with Mauro and his staff. There are also some gems such as the Delirium Tremens, the Carlo V and the typical German frankfurters and sausages.

30/03/2024: On the advice of a friend we had lunch at Marcello's, the location with a view was very beautiful and the food was very good; there were a couple of inconveniences with the dishes but these are things that can happen, the staff was understanding, moreover they removed one of the dishes in question from the bill, I would say that it is synonymous with seriousness and attention to the customer. We will be back.

12/03/2024: We went to this delicatessen to get some culatello to take home and give as gifts, since we were in the homeland of ham and we're not local. When I write a review I put respect for the seller first and try to be objective, but the disappointment was excessive: we were given a culatello that was vacuum-packed, without any label, date, production... nothing. But we trusted the product and the name. The culatello was dry and salty, salty like the price paid, 76 euros per kilo and 86 euros per kilo, as a surcharge for having had a vacuum tray made. I only tried such a mediocre flavor in the canteen where I work and I'm not saying this to exaggerate but to make those reading this review understand what I'm talking about. if I didn't live so far away, I would have brought it back. I'm sorry to leave this review, but we were literally fooled and the mistake was ours both for not having asked the price per kilo first (no over-the-counter product has a price list) and for not having asked for a taste before purchasing it ; lastly, the mistake of having trusted. Obviously we made a 'bad impression' even with the people to whom we gave a pack of culatello, who confirmed what was written. The place is very nice. Nothing more.

24/03/2024: I've been to the Masticabrodo restaurant and had a mixed experience. Although the menu needs improvement, with a more refined presentation than a simple piece of disposable paper, I must admit that the wine list was a pleasant surprise. The Nabucco was particularly outstanding. The charcuterie tasting was divine, even if the salami didn't fully meet my expectations. The flakes of 24-month aged parmigiano reggiano were delicious, while the crispy polenta was decent but not exceptional. The staff were extremely friendly, helpful and welcoming, which made the experience very pleasant. The anolini, then, were simply divine, with an incredible filling! The environment was very calm and peaceful, probably because I arrived around 11am. However, the prices were a little above average, but considering the quality of the food and service, it was definitely worth it!

06/04/2024: You know those restaurants that are praised online, but then you arrive in front of them and think "but what is this?". Well, that's the first feeling, but as soon as the dishes from Trattoria Cascinapiano arrive, everything changes. 🏠 LOCAL | the location and decor are not the most inviting. Or at least, it's a style that personally doesn't drive me crazy. A little kitsch, a little strange, a little like failed artists. Alright, let's move on. 🚶‍♂ PERSONAL | the owner and the staff (all female?) are very good and super professional. Never intrusive and always ready to suggest the dishes of the day. Well done! 👨‍🍳 COOKING | perhaps one of the best ever tasted in the Parma area. The traditional dishes - fried pie + cured meats and tortelli - are of unreal goodness and even more elaborate dishes such as cheek are prepared to perfection. Too good, seriously. 💶 ACCOUNT | prices are around €25 each for a complete lunch. I would say excellent for what is offered! I recommend it to everybody

01/04/2024: Easter Monday lunch. All really excellent, super cured meats and saffron risotto and rice bomb 🔝. Given the abundance of the portions we did not take the second courses which we will certainly take next time. Very kind staff and also the landlady. Fair prices. Excellent value for money. The art path is beautiful which, passing through the vineyards, takes you to the castle of Santa Chiara

07/11/2023: An ancient characteristic delicatessen equipped with all kinds of local cured meats. Giacomo, the owner, is a unique, serious and competent person, able to guess tastes and preferences. A true craftsman with a smile for everyone. The environment is very nice, simple and genuine.

03/04/2024: We stayed at Bristot 52 over the Easter weekend and had the pleasure of having breakfast there. In addition to the courtesy and kindness of all the staff, we ate some excellent cakes made by the owner. Thanks also to the attention given to my lactose intolerant son. We recommend it and hope to be able to return.
