12/01/2025: We had lunch on Sunday in this ancient Bolognese trattoria, at the foot of the walk towards the Sanctuary of San Luca. The restaurant therefore has a notable positioning and the environment is suggestive, typical of ancient trattorias. Precisely for this reason I allow myself to give 2 passionate suggestions that would make the place much more appreciated: 1) put a double door: perhaps you give up a couple of tables and introduce a modernity but you avoid letting the cold in 2) 5 euros 2 coffees is perhaps excessive: I would suggest lowering the prices because we are still in a trattoria. For the rest, nice atmosphere, excellent dessert, trifle, and very good first course, tagliatella with meat sauce.

06/01/2025: Love this restaurant and am planning my 3rd visit this spring - on checking the reviews I was shocked to see a 1* review 'how could that be' I thought. Then reading it I see that the poster apparently thought she was in a coffee shop and gave them 1* because they are not a coffee shop. Talk about entitled!! I will be back and I hope with another 5* review in the near future.

06/02/2025: Quick lunch, decent quality, small quantity of salad, but no one ever has too much. Quite elegant discreet environment. Great service, super coffee. Spotless bathroom.

08/02/2025: I must say that the place is ugly both externally and internally, as is the dirt road on a rainy day. . . help. The friendly owner (? I think so) who appeared at the door upon our arrival and invited us to . . . """don't park in front because otherwise everyone will come here (?) go over there near the hedge""" Given the weather, we had gotten as close as possible, also because the parking lot (all a puddle) was full and instead the entire courtyard in front of the entrance was free; since on a day of wind and pouring rain I don't think it was useful for court dances, I don't understand the ban, I would have liked to ask why, but as the gentleman immediately revealed himself, he was never seen again, but given my propensity for discussions, it was better that way. 🏳️‍🌈 However we performed diligently. . . 😀 Luckily we had a good time, good dishes, the four of us were all happy, both with the first and second courses, personally I find the idea of ​​seasonality in the dishes excellent. I expected something more from their breads, not bad wine, a sparkling pignoletto a little too frizz. The young waiters are kind and at the same time friendly and coordinate well. The distance between the tables is appreciable. Correct account. I saw that they accept pets in the room, a plus.

27/02/2025: Evening with colleagues with excellent pizza and good beers! I recommend courgette flowers as a starter to share! Little choice on desserts. Good service and an environment suitable for an evening without too many pretensions. The only 'flaw' is the smell of fried food that you bring home on your clothes.

23/02/2025: I went to dinner with some friends in this place that I didn't know, unfortunately the overall experience was negative. Let's start with the food, I had a Bolognese cutlet which they say is the main dish of the place and 1/3 of it was bone-in so unedible at the price of €27 when in other places I always find it at a maximum price of €16 without the bone, not being a Florentine. We all had a single dish, a bottle of wine for 7 of us and a dessert for an absolutely excessive bill of €38 each. The staff is friendly even if a little confusing when taking orders with the bar and room seeming to be separate. The open space of the very noisy restaurant does not help to contextualize a quiet dinner, a few booths would help at the expense of some seating. Personally I don't feel like recommending it.
