Vito San Luca In Bologna

Delicious pizzas in an unusual, warm setting; after a climb to admire the San Luca church in the rain, we were delighted to discover this quality pizzeria!

The food was delicious, the service was prompt, and the atmosphere was beautiful. Everyone was friendly and welcoming.

I had dinner with my wife at this restaurant located on the San Luca hill. It's fantastic! Just steps from the Basilica and the start of the long portico that culminates after almost 4 km near the Bologna stadium. A historic, almost fairytale-like structure with two internal rooms. The first, in mountain style, features wood and creative decorations, yet is intimate with almost soft lighting. The second, with a completely different style, is bright and colorful, floral, and features paintings of various kinds. The staff is friendly and very helpful; the service is organized, and fast. The menu is based on local specialties, with good ingredients and generous portions, all at a fair price. This restaurant is very suitable for large groups.

Being in Bologna, you expect top-notch food, but that wasn't the case with the lasagna, tagliatelle, and cured meats. Getting in was a bit chaotic for the double shift. The waiters were friendly and attentive.

I stopped for a coffee and was pleasantly surprised to see the interior. I loved it. The guys at the counter were really kind. I'm not giving stars for the food only because I haven't eaten there, but believe me, it's picturesque. I'll be back 🤗
