26/07/2025: Small but welcoming place. It's a shame the ceiling is covered with fake reeds, they seem temporary (what could be underneath!) From the menu we choose lasagna...not available, roast rabbit...not available, boiled meat...not available, polenta...only in winter. We adapt with: tagliatelle with meat sauce but the sauce had a stale, runny aftertaste, the pasta was smooth, guinea fowl was very greasy, with 4 dry baked potatoes and two sage leaves for decoration on the plate. Poor service. The salad was brought with the tagliatelle even though I had said it would be served later. Dishes were served with oven gloves, and the waiters were intrusive in introducing the dishes, cutting off each other's words. We then realized that they would be closing the next day for holidays. The manager is just an extra. Big disappointment.

24/07/2025: A classic trattoria in the center of Bologna, with a simple atmosphere. The presentation of the dishes was rather basic. Some dishes on the menu, such as the shin, were unavailable that day, so we opted for the beef fillet, which, however, was significantly smaller than the price.

11/08/2025: The quality of their ice cream is truly incredible, not to mention the melon flavor!!! Plus, all the staff is extremely friendly and helpful, and the prices are fair for the high quality of the product. I absolutely recommend it!

16/08/2025: A true agriturismo like few others these days. Completely immersed in greenery, in an unreal tranquility among peacocks, ducks, pheasants, and more. The staff is incredibly kind, helpful, and courteous, making you feel truly at home (Mrs. Rita is a master at this). Rooms are large, bright, and very clean, with every comfort (fridge, air conditioning, independent heating, a decent-sized TV, a hairdryer (which really dries), and everything you need for a good wash). The cuisine is excellent, with dishes prepared with produce from their own garden, wine from their own vineyard, and homemade cookies and desserts. The food here is truly healthy. There's no à la carte menu: it's a bit like at home: you eat what's available, but whatever your needs, they're always happy to accommodate them. The value for money is absolutely excellent. I've discovered a little corner of paradise, and I recommend it 100%. Update 09/19/2023 I returned for work, this time accompanied by my wife, and I can only happily confirm everything above. Mrs. Rita was, as always, exquisitely courteous, full of thoughtfulness and kindness. And we will certainly return whenever we have the opportunity.

03/07/2025: Me and some friends went twice to the restaurant. The first time we were served by and amazing older lady. She was super attentive and kind. The second time we were served by a lady with red hair. She was super harsh and mean. Threw the receipts and the change at the customers. I arrived bit later than my friends and when I arrived she didn't ask if I wanted to order something. Every request we made (cutlery, suggestions for desert) were always answered with bad attitude. When paying she was rude and made the wrong math for one of my friends. When confronted with it, she was mad about it and even yelled at my friends asking "it's it ok". We were thinking of going there again but after this treatment we are never going back.

29/07/2025: Very good!!! Without a doubt, the best pizza place we've had so far. It was worth the 3 km walk to try one of the best Italian pizzas in the Bologna area. The atmosphere is beautifully decorated, it feels like paradise. I sincerely appreciate the service. You're the best.

16/08/2025: Maybe August 15th isn't the best day to go... There's no air conditioning on the first floor. Service is inattentive. The fish portions are adequate, but nothing exceptional. I gave two wine options, and another was brought to me.

13/09/2025: Sadly, although this plce hd been recommended to us, we were very disappointed. The meals were not good. Bland, lacking depth of flavour. They had quite a limited menu, but had run out of sardines, which we had wanted. The so called french fries were not eaten at all, more like hot crisps, they were not good. The waiter got them removed from our bill. Admire the beautiful tree from the outside, then go to another restaurant. There are many that are better in Bologna.

10/09/2025: Very tasty. Centrally located yet somewhat hidden, with a lovely outdoor area. The risotto is highly recommended.

20/08/2025: I ate terribly, the first course was indescribable, the first course was gnocchi with cream of courgettes that wasn't creamy and burnt speck. I sent it back, I asked for tortellini, according to them with non-existent saffron, non-existent cream and cheese, the only thing that could be tasted were old parmesan crusts.

14/08/2025: Excellent dinner with quality products. Two young guys who work with passion and are worth visiting! Five stars, fully deserved.

01/09/2025: We arrived late from the raticosa and we were hungry / with the kitchen closing they still satisfied us and the meat was good and the service excellent ... very kind girls .. we will return without a doubt

24/08/2025: We ate at almost every restaurant in Monghidoro and Loiano (and the surrounding area). I'm quite picky and found flaws everywhere. Do you want the truth? I ate very well here, beyond my expectations. Well done!

12/07/2025: Posto meraviglioso in un contesto senza dubbio splendido, abbiamo cenato fuori adiacenti ad un un immenso parco verde e poco distante dai fenicotteri rosa. Premessa a parte, vorrei precisare alcune attenzioni che a mio avviso sono mancate come per esempio l'arrivo dell'antipasto mentre, con il menù in mano stavamo ancora scegliendo vino e pietanze, il sommelier (un po' pesante e poco concreto) . Camerieri molto carini e attenti, pietanze buone ma per il prezzo speso preferisco altri ristoranti (tra cui alcuni stellati) dove si spende meno e si mangia meglio con più portate. Ma consiglio di provarlo ne vale comunque la pena

06/07/2025: A parte le entre di benvenuto e la piccola pasticceria di fine pasto, a base delle quali vorrei pasteggiare tutte le volte che frequento il Fenicottero, molto ci sarebbe da dire sulla maestria di Alessandro nel presentare una cucina innovativa pur rispettando sapori, profumi e consistenze di una materia prima di altissima qualità. Personale di sala cordiale e molto disponibile
