16/06/2025: We come to this restaurant for all special occasions. The food is very good, typical Bolognese. The prices are quite in line with the rest of the trattorias in the city, perhaps a little higher: first courses 12~14€, cotoletta alla bolognese 17€, cover charge 3€. First courses are abundant and tasty. Cotoletta alla bolognese is very large. Street parking is available for a fee, it is often not very easy to find places nearby. Reservations are practically mandatory at least 2 weeks in advance, otherwise it is difficult to find a place.

03/06/2025: ingresso dal bar e non ti aspetti l'ambiente carino e confortevole del piano superiore. Tutti i tavoli erano occupati ed anche dopo le 21:30 arrivavano le famiglie a cena. Personale cordiale e molto gentile. Menù di portate di numero sufficiente per gustarsi un bel pasto. Iniziato con funghi fritti, molto buoni che mi hanno fatto ricordare quelli mangiati da più giovane in montagna. Primo di tortelli al formaggio, favolosi e trionfo di pizze tra cui la speciale con mortadella burrata a pistacchio. Dolce di pane con cioccolato fondente e amaretti da paradiso. Birra buona. Complimenti allo staff e al pizzaiolo che con la giusta materia prima, la valida mano e un buon forno ha creato delle opere. consigliatissimo

17/06/2025: We went to a birthday lunch for two celebrants in this very nice place. We were outside in the greenery. Very good food, fried gnocco, tigelle...the delicious fried tortellini. Excellent service, kindness and courtesy from everyone. A special thanks to Filippo and his mother for everything. Highly recommended.

I ate the best meat of my life ... the appetizer offered by the house with homemade focaccia and mortadella is delicious ... the summer expanse is very well looked after and full of exceptional details ... absolutely recommended ... very high level

13/06/2025: Un lugar muy mediocre donde te atienden de muy mala gana. Toma en cuenta que tienes que ir al mostrador a pedir y pagar tu propia comida y ya el personal la lleva a tu mesa. Un menú corto que consiste en mariscos tales como camarones, pulpo y salmón. Lo puedes pedir crudo, frito o al grill. De contorno solo hay papas y calabaza. Hay un par de hamburguesas también pero nosotros solo pedimos la tártara de atún en ensalada y sola. Bastante mala y escasa. El pan malo también. El vino de la casa en €3.50 estaba bueno. Te dan agua y pan por €2 Quizá no pedí lo correcto pero no regreso y no lo recomiendo

28/06/2025: We ordered two pizzas for delivery. The service over the phone was perfect. The delivery man's terrible food made us go to pick them up in a very bad mood. The most notable thing, in my opinion, was the quality of the food. It was our first time eating pizza in Italy, and it was inedible. Anyway, I hope you improve.

26/05/2025: Indian restaurant that offers really tasty dishes at a great price. The owner is extremely kind and helpful. The only small flaw is the environment: the structure of the restaurant has remained that of the Chinese that was there previously, to which some decorative elements have been added that bring to mind Indian culture. This creates a contrast that is too strident, however. This does not undermine the quality of the experience. I have been there several times and have always been satisfied.

The waitresses were very kind but my review can only be negative focusing only on the quantity, quality and cost of the food... a €30 menu, with water and drinks excluded, per person with not good dishes (my burger was hard as a rock, dry and I couldn't slice it) and poor portions. They left me hungry and unsatisfied. The place itself is beautiful but the structure in my opinion is dilapidated and poorly maintained.

25/04/2025: Nice vegan restaurant on verdant hills surprisingly near to the city. Nice position to end or start easy trails in the woods, they offer an interesting food choice; Try their kimchi, it will surprise you!

22/06/2025: Best lunch since I moved to Emilia! I went to Trattoria Gilberto in Monte San Pietro and I can say with certainty that it was the best lunch since I moved to Emilia. I started with spectacular tagliatelle al ragù: homemade pasta, rough, tasty, with a rich and perfectly balanced ragù. A dish that tastes like Sunday, home, tradition. Then I enjoyed a wonderful plate of tigelle and crescentine with a generous mix of local cured meats and cheeses. The pickles were delicious, but the real surprise was the pesto from Modena: simply the best I have ever eaten. Fragrant, intense, made with real ingredients and expert hands. The environment is welcoming, simple and authentic, with a view of the hills that completes the experience. The staff is kind, helpful, present at the right time. Honest prices, generous portions, sincere flavors. A place where you eat with taste and return with pleasure. Trattoria Gilberto is a must-see for those who love true Emilian cuisine.
