Went for lunch as it looked interesting and different from the usual touristy places. There was an event on in the main dining area so we - and all the locals - were directed to an overspill room. Brilliant atmosphere, really lovely simple food with some great taste combinations. Staff super friendly and helpful as we made a hash of their beautiful language. Loved the place, the food, the experience and the low prices.

Very good, and the food is delicious. Elaborate dishes and a very gourmet feel. Prices are quite low by Bologna standards.

The name of the place says it all: the experience is purely culinary, without frills, starting with the extremely friendly and original yet very, very basic atmosphere.
The menu is divided into à la carte and tasting menus. In all cases, the portions are more than adequate (the tasting menu is really difficult to finish, so I recommend arriving very hungry).
Overall, an experience worth repeating several times to discover the chef's creativity each time.

The value for money—based on my experience—is unbeatable. Quality food, and the dishes are always varied and carefully prepared. If you can eat this well for lunch for €15–€20, other places should close down in shame.

A cool concept, with different sets every day, consisting of an appetizer, soup, main course, and dessert. Interesting flavor combinations. The place is huge, more like a cafeteria than a restaurant. Communicating in English was a bit of a challenge. It's worth a try; our main course was delicious, but the rest didn't impress us.

È cucina Leopardi is one of the few Italian restaurants in Bologna where you can find true value for money! Always seasonal products and dishes with home-style flavors but with a touch of creativity! I love this place!
Thanks to the chef and the service staff, who always do an excellent job!
Highly recommended for vegetarians too.
