Excellent casual bar tucked away on the corner of buzzy side-street. Predominantly young and friendly locals. Sample a number of well-priced spritz before dinner – favourite being the Montenegro. Friendly service and owner/manager also gave us complimentary focaccia for nibbles. Thank you.

Wonderful! A perfect spot any time of day: morning, afternoon, or evening. The atmosphere is fantastic, with a diverse crowd that creates a very special energy. Every time I return to Bologna, a stop at Barazzo will be a must. The service is friendly and welcoming, and they truly make you feel like family. Great music, authenticity, and a charming place. Highly recommended!

A good-dough pizza, initially Neapolitan with a good texture, then becomes rubbery too quickly. Can it maintain its softness longer? Anyway, in Pratello, not bad!

Okay, we're in Bologna, on Via del Pratello, and many things can be forgiven because the atmosphere is always magical and we're talking about a historic venue. But... how can you serve Prosecco in a common water glass? No, something doesn't add up, I'm sorry. Isn't this a Prosecco place? Maybe, but then don't serve it. A little consistency, please.

06/08/2026: Good, but for a fixed menu at €18.50, first course, second course, side dish, it is expensive compared to all the others which are around €14/15
03/08/2026: Excellent home-cooked food!!!! Very friendly staff, and Valentino is always a guarantee. The atmosphere is simple and a little dated, but welcoming and clean.

24/06/2026: Went for lunch as it looked interesting and different from the usual touristy places. There was an event on in the main dining area so we - and all the locals - were directed to an overspill room. Brilliant atmosphere, really lovely simple food with some great taste combinations. Staff super friendly and helpful as we made a hash of their beautiful language. Loved the place, the food, the experience and the low prices.
16/06/2026: Always pleasant, it is advisable to arrive before 12.40pm otherwise the waiting times will be longer.
