02/06/2025: Very good food, large portions.. Service OK, recommended to go only in winter, too hot 35 degrees in the room, air conditioning that did not work and it is not the first time!!

08/06/2025: How you spend eat, place passed for a tavern so as not to renovate tables chairs walls etc! We start with a two-star service the waiter after having us sit down and immediately asked how we wanted the water (before I argued but now I let it go) disappeared, between one wrong dish and another we managed to eat! Appetizer of discounted cold cuts and cheeses without praise taken and placed on the right plate that mix between tavern and gourmet restaurant as you can see in the photo! First green tagliatelle with duck sauce that well had no flavor except for the cheese we put, when we got here the positive note that turned everything around is the cotoletta alla bolognese that even if everyone does it their own way I really liked this one! We had potatoes as a side dish without salt and the bitter was offered by the house, will we go back? The answer is no, it depends on who you go with, on what occasion. Let's say that for a quick lunch without needs I will go back. In any case everyone is very kind

15/06/2025: We had dinner on Sunday, booking in the afternoon. The staff was friendly and polite, they all greeted us when we entered and left the restaurant. The food was really good! I wanted tagliatelle with ragù like grandmas used to make and I was completely satisfied. My partner had the sausage and chicory grits and we also promised ourselves to try to make it at home because it was so good. We took a mixed platter x1 to halve, gramigna sausage and chicory, tagliatelle with ragù and a bottle of water and we spent €39 in total. The right portions, tending towards substantial! We will definitely be back

20/06/2025: WARNING! I rarely leave reviews, but this experience left such a sour taste that I couldn't stay silent. From the moment we were seated, our waiter made it painfully obvious he’d rather be anywhere else but doing his job. No greeting, no smile—just a grunted “what do you want” as if we’d interrupted his evening nap. Every question we asked about the menu was met with eye rolls or shrugged indifference, and it felt like a personal favor whenever he bothered to bring anything to the table. If your goal is to feel like an inconvenience rather than a customer, this is the place for you. It’s not just bad service—it’s the kind of contempt that makes you wonder if you’ve walked into someone’s living room uninvited instead of a paying establishment. I don’t expect a Broadway performance, but basic courtesy shouldn't be too much to ask

24/05/2025: Nice local spot for breakfast. They have a wide variety of pastry and sandwiches. The service is also great. Staff is smiling and friendly. We went there twice morning in a row as its across the street from our BnB.

23/05/2025: The pastries were quite good, the bathroom was very dirty and the dishes (cup and spoons) had stains... they didn't give us water with the coffee. It gave me a general impression of being a bit neglected. Low/average prices

07/06/2025: If you stop here for an aperitif.... "Abandon all hope, ye who enter here" (cit).... Or you can bring your own appetizers, since they don't serve them here. And the prices are the same as where they also serve something to eat.

07/06/2025: The best brioche and bomboloni in the area: another planet compared to what you usually find in bars. I don't live in San Giovanni, but when I can I travel more than willingly because the trip is amply repaid by the quality.

14/06/2025: Had dinner with my partner in this restaurant, the location is very beautiful inside the castle walls without traffic noise, the staff is attentive and courteous. I also liked the raw materials with somewhat sophisticated dishes, we had a good time!

25/03/2025: We had an absolutely amazing experience!! We decided to try this restaurant last minute and are so happy we did! Vincenzo was wonderful! The food was fantastic, the chef outdid himself! It was their flagship product but now it's dropped dramatically. Let's be clear, it's not "bad" but it doesn't taste like anything anymore. I stopped taking it

28/06/2025: We had actually planned to stay just one night while passing through, but then we had a car breakdown on the spot. The hotel and the staff were very supportive, offering translations, extending our stay, and daily encouragement. We felt a great sense of support and would recommend the hotel without reservation.

27/06/2025: It was not a planned stop. We stayed for two nights due to a sudden car breakdown. Modern, clean and very well-kept structure; really rich breakfast. All the receptionists were fantastic, demonstrating old-fashioned kindness and helpfulness.

26/05/2025: Excellent pizza, many variations and good combination of flavors. It is not always possible. For the rest, no special mention. You eat the pizza and leave. Good acoustic reaction favored by soundproofing panels that allow conversation even when there are many people, and this is an important aspect. Pleasant appearance of the walls and ceiling adorned with green plants obviously artificial.

25/05/2025: Good pizza but not worth the price. I took a margherita 2.0. The pizza was digestible and with quality ingredients, but apart from the crust which was medium sized the rest of the pizza was a veil. I paid 9.90 euros, I expected better, but I have certainly eaten many worse pizzas

15/05/2025: I always go to them because I know they are a sure thing. Fast and always quality. The fish is always fresh and melts in your mouth. Highly recommended!
