28/12/2024: We were invited for a dinner with friends in Paolo's restaurant, for us it was the first time, others had already been there. The restaurant is inside a sports center, which makes free parking at dinner very convenient. Location nothing special, typical of a Trattoria. I took the tagliatelle with meat sauce, very salty and a portion smaller than the standard 80g for me. I don't recommend them. The fish depends, we took different things and tasted among ourselves. I didn't like the pan of calamarata, while the grilled calamari was good. The desserts are absolutely out of place and cost €7 and more for 2 scoops of ice cream. 8 first/8 second courses, 3 bottles of prosecco, 5 desserts and 2 coffees €51 each.. In short, quality of food and portions nothing special.. if we had paid €30 I think they wouldn't have given us anything.. But anyway this is now the practice in many places in Bologna. 3 stars to be wide, but honestly I prefer other places both for price and quality.

27/02/2025: Local in central street in San Lazzaro. Old school management, the owners already had a place so they are in the trade. Here there is the possibility of eating pizza 🍕, meat 🥩, fish 🐟. The pizzas are excellent and well garnished. The cut defends itself. The fish offers interesting dishes and they are not bad, just the fried one which is a little too small in portion size. Parking is available in the surrounding streets. Active and friendly staff.

Excellent cuisine which over the years has acquired its own identity by radically changing the initial menu and focusing exclusively on fish with few but well-prepared courses: in the starter I still have the taste of the sea of ​​oysters in my mouth! Portions generous but not exaggerated. Friendly and prepared staff. It had been some time since our previous visit, but we have known Chef Matteo for years (thanks to his pastry making) and when there is a special occasion, like our wedding anniversary, there is no better place in to be pampered. Obviously you pay for quality, and the type of menu confirms this. Congratulations to everyone: keep up the good work.

18/11/2024: We celebrated a birthday party with 60 guests and had a great time. Carlo and Tatiana have always been kind and helpful, always answering yes to our every request and even offering us the choice between agreeing on a menu in advance or ordering everything a la carte on the spot. In the end we opted for the second and despite this the service and management were excellent but the thing we liked most was the cuisine. We tasted many different dishes and didn't find a single one that wasn't truly delicious. I hope that these guys retain the passion they transmit for their work for a long time to come. Well done. The place is nice, warm and welcoming. We will definitely return to this restaurant also due to its particular location.

08/12/2024: 5 stars for this amazing place ! The food is very good and the service even better. We were very late for our reservation due to weather and road issues , but the owner and the team waited for us and were very kind and patient even though it was nearly their closing time, allowing us to relax and take our time. The antipasti and dolci Buffett have great options and the mains are amazing; the ragu is made per tradition and definitely an highlight. I am coeliac and they were super attentive and had a whole separate menu for gluten free options - no issues with cross contamination either; they also cather for vegan and vegetarians Wine and liquor selection was also great. Prices are very reasonable and the whole place has a very homey and welcoming atmosphere. We will definitely be back

05/02/2025: We enjoyed eating crescentine, tagliatelle with meat sauce and an excellent chestnut mascarpone. We were greeted with smiles from the staff, who were kind and professional. The environment is absolutely informal, excellent for those with children as the tavern is immersed in a large park.

07/03/2025: It was one of my trusted ice cream shops for a long time until last summer, that is, before they raised the price of a two-flavor cone from €3 to €4. I don't question the quality of the ice cream which is certainly excellent but I still give two stars because such a price is absolutely beyond any logic and out of the market (fortunately there are other exceptional ice cream shops in Bologna and none of these have such prices). It's a shame because the ice cream is very good but with a price increase like this it becomes impossible to enjoy it.

09/02/2025: Recommended in all guides, very nice place (if you are not a fan of modern style). The food is excellent and the price is correct. If you pass through Bologna, as everyone says, it is mandatory to eat here. Exquisite staff, especially the lady who welcomed us, taking care to update us while we waited for the table.

08/02/2025: Very popular tavern. Well made dishes. The tortellini in broth are very good, the Bolognese cutlet less so.
