Great experience, with the option of an all-you-can-eat or à la carte menu.
We went as a group of five and were seated on Friday at 9 pm even without a reservation.
The venue and decor are typically intimidating. The music is a bit monotonous.
Impeccable and very friendly service.
Good food, spicy and piquant. The lamb was incredibly tender, the baked chicken pieces dry, and the milk drink they recommended was excellent for toning down the spiciness.
Just a note: the chairs were disproportionate to the table.
The price was fair. We ordered from the menu.

If you want to try a variety of Indian specialties, this is the place to go.
It's a shame about the parking, but like almost all places in the historic center, it suffers from this.

Informal atmosphere and welcoming staff, but unfortunately the food didn't live up to expectations. Murg tikka was chewy and tasteless, and the alo goobi and vegetable balls were passable.

Very good restaurant, extremely friendly staff. I read many reviews about the extreme spiciness, but it's certainly a matter of habit. I personally didn't find it that extreme. The spiciest dishes are marked, and obviously, we're talking about very spicy dishes. Besides the chili pepper, the spices also contribute, but it's all bearable if you're used to enjoying spicy dishes! The icing on the cake for a dinner at the Taj Mahal is the mango lassi at the end of the meal, but it also helps tone down the heat if you like. ;) The rosewater one is also excellent!

Excellent experience. All-you-eat lunch, with a wide variety of dishes, all delicious. The meal was very balanced, with meat, rice, legumes, vegetables, and yogurt. The price was fair.

A welcoming restaurant with traditional furnishings and refined, delicate cuisine. The staff is always friendly and attentive to requests. An excellent journey through Indian delicacies at a fair price. I highly recommend it.

An exceptional experience. The setting is richly furnished and clean, the food is delicious, and the staff is not only incredibly friendly but also very attentive to allergens or specific ingredients, such as those with celiac disease or veganism. For the latter, I recommend the all-you-can-eat option, as it includes all meat-free dishes. A gem. My wife and I will definitely be back.

An experience definitely worth repeating. My husband and I've never had an Indian all-you-can-eat restaurant before. The dishes are well-balanced in flavor, generous portions, the fried food is excellent and not at all heavy, and there's a wide selection of vegan options. The service is courteous, helpful, and surprisingly polite. Many Italians should learn from this.

Having been fortunate enough to have been to India, I can say that this Indian restaurant truly reflects Indian cuisine. It's definitely the best in Bologna, but I'd say not only that!
