21/09/2025: A total disappointment. I've been a Bolognese for 60 years, and I remember when Ugo was an institution. It's limited in flavors, not even cheap, but it's among the best in the city. Those are days gone by. I found it open today when I walked past (it has odd hours, and for the past 10 years, when I was there, it was closed). The price is high, but more or less in line with other gelato shops in Bologna. The problem is that it's nothing like the creamy, intensely flavored gelato I remembered. The zabaglione today was completely frozen, and the chocolate was decidedly watery. I can think of at least 30 gelato shops in Bologna that make it MUCH better. The 4.5 star Google reviews may be a reflection of its past success, but in September 2025, you'll find better options practically everywhere in the city.

13/08/2025: Great experience, I go there often because I work nearby, the ice creams are super good and they have so many flavors to choose from, some of which are very unique like Happy Hippo, super good, it takes me back to when I was a child. The location is also nice, surrounded by greenery and with plenty of parking 😁

10/12/2025: Terrible restaurant. They brought me a focaccia during service (which I hadn't ordered), claiming it was a freebie, without mentioning that I'd have to pay for it later. In the end, I ended up paying for the focaccia in addition to the two dishes I'd ordered. Mediocre food and portions. I won't be returning, and I definitely don't recommend it.

07/11/2025: The food was very good and well-presented. The staff was extremely kind; the lady at the cash register was welcoming and helpful, and the waiter was equally as friendly. The setting is unique; the chairs are comfortable, the atmosphere was warm and peaceful, and the background music was relaxing. Congratulations!

07/09/2025: The food is always top-notch. I'd love to try this today, but we can't figure out if you're open, and coming from outside Bologna, it's a shame to travel far for nothing.

06/11/2025: I had booked a table through The Fork on October 14th for dinner on Saturday, November 1st. The night before, October 31st, the restaurant canceled my reservation at the last minute, leaving me completely without alternatives: all other restaurants were now fully booked. This was truly unprofessional behavior that ruined my weekend. If it were possible, I would give it zero stars.

04/11/2025: Pescaria - Bologna is a restaurant you absolutely must try. The dishes we ordered were excellent. The tuna tataki, in particular, is one of the best dishes I've ever eaten. The staff is very friendly and helpful, as is the atmosphere you feel when you enter the restaurant. Go there, you won't regret it.

Abbiamo gustato dei carciofi fritti superlativi, crostini ai funghi prugnoli deliziosi. Passatelli con pomodorini e prugnoli ottimi e una ribollita stupenda. Per dolce, abbiamo ordinato un'altra porzione degli indimenticabili carciofi fritti.

16/11/2025: We celebrated an eighteenth birthday yesterday. It was a resounding success, thanks to the professionalism and courtesy we encountered. All the food, desserts, and cake were arranged at our request. The venue was very tidy and beautiful, and can be used in a variety of ways to suit different needs. A very satisfying experience, which I highly recommend. The ample parking is also a must-see. Thank you for everything.

15/07/2025: Very retro but very clean place. You order from the a la carte menu instead of the work menu and... You ask for a medium-rare sliced steak with salt and rosemary and it's overcooked!! Inedible!!! With a head of mixed salad glazed with Ponti balsamic vinegar on the plate, €18 + baked potatoes with a piece of parchment paper on the plate!!! Lunch break after a 7-hour drive from PENA!! Plus, I guess the owner was annoyed when she did the bill!!! Never again!! With a total bill of €26, with just 1/2 liter of water and no coffee, I could have eaten much better!!!

20/10/2025: Courtesy comes first, along with speed of service, with the quality of the pizza coming second! Overall, a good takeout pizzeria!
