05/06/2025: I only had a coffee but the staff was super friendly (it always impresses me!), the prices were super fair from what I could see!

16/04/2025: Basically, the three of us ordered three pastries and three coffees. I have to say, the pastries were decent, but the coffees were practically undrinkable. It's absurd that such a popular bar would make such awful coffee. But the best is yet to come: I paid 10 euros and 10 cents at the cashier, and I showed up with 10 euros and 5 cents. As an alternative, two euros. Guess what??? He preferred (for a 5 cent difference) to exchange the two euros for me... I should have paid by credit card! INCREDIBLE

29/07/2025: Delicious food, I recommend the piadina al testo with prosciutto. Convenient location with a huge parking lot out front. Very fair prices and top quality. Staff are quiet but helpful. Recommended 👍👍👍👍

13/07/2025: A long-standing dairy bar on a busy street, its clientele includes residents of the many surrounding buildings as well as passers-by (often on business) who choose Bar Manu as a place to stop. The manager, Manuela, is very helpful, and offers a good selection of sweet and savory treats, as well as drinks. The place is quite small inside, with a few seats outside, often occupied by retired residents.

27/11/2025: The restaurant and bathroom were clean. The food was freshly prepared and arrived piping hot, just the way we like it. We especially enjoyed the fried dishes. The staff was friendly, and the price was fair. We were even offered a complimentary shot at the end.

19/06/2025: Went here on my birthday, and was deeply dissatisfied afterwards. I ordered a yakitori beef, however all I got was 3 small pieces, which were dry and had no flavour at all. The rice was not well cooked. I was so close to asking the waitress "is this everything?", cause I genuinely thought more food was being prepared for me.. but that was it. We were also the only ones in the restaurant. The service was not great, didn't come a single smile from one of the waitresses. Was also quite difficult to get contact with them, as they never looked towards us. They just seemed irritated for some reason. We had to go to another restaurant afterwards, because we all were still hungry. I don't like to write bad reviews online, but sometimes I have to express my experience with a restaurant. It is unfortunate.

20/10/2025: Very good tortellini, very good mussel and clam sauté, and also the fried food, spaghetti with clams, clams not arrived, spaghetti not very good and too raw, the seafood pizza is unsightly (how can you put surimi and 3 shrimps?) a restaurant that serves fish should have a rich and tasty seafood pizza, I was tempted to send it back

17/12/2025: I've been to this bar, where I go quite often. Last night I ordered a gin and tonic with Bull Dog gin, listed as 7 euros on the online menu, but was charged 10 euros because, according to the cashier/bartender, the menu wasn't up to date, despite my complaints. Who knows what else is wrong with the menu? Be careful of the apparently unclear prices. Evidently, the customer isn't always right, despite the obvious. The drinks were good, though.

12/10/2025: Everything was amazing! We came two days in a row because the atmosphere, the welcome, the service, the food and the cocktails were so good! I highly recommend this place, and I will return without any hesitation! Thank you very much!!!

03/10/2025: There are many döner kebab restaurants in Bologna. You might try one of them, as it's near the medya. It's not wow-worthy, but it's good.

28/09/2025: If you’re walking through Bologna looking for gelato, GROM is worth a glance — it’s a small place with quite a few flavors. That said, I felt it’s not quite as good as it used to be; many of the flavors taste very similar to each other. Still, it’s a convenient stop if you're wandering nearby and craving something cool—but don’t expect the wow factor it once had.

14/09/2025: I went back after a few years. I have to say I was disappointed. The price is excessive, a piece of 10x10 cm pizza 2 € but even more so a 33xcl can of coke 3 € The pizza is a bit too salty. That's it and I won't go back again.

17/12/2025: Rude and unprofessional staff. They made a mistake when booking a reservation for a table of 15 people, booking us an hour earlier than we requested and confirmed twice over the phone, also assuring us that there would be no problems with the kitchen closing time. Upon arrival, we were told we were an hour late and that if we weren't all present within 5 minutes, we wouldn't be seated. A mistake (perhaps made in good faith) that was blamed on us rather than handled professionally. Furthermore, we were told that they don't usually accept reservations for tables of 15 people, implying that the situation was somehow predictable, despite the mistake clearly being theirs and the reservation having been reconfirmed multiple times. The staff's attitude was cold and disrespectful, both in their manner and tone, making us feel uncomfortable. We won't be returning. Disappointing experience.

14/12/2025: Excellent service. The manager was really friendly and welcoming, and she recommended and presented the dishes very well. The food was delicious, from starters to desserts. Highly recommended for a lovely lunch!
