04/09/2025: It's extremely rare, if not unique, to find this level of value for money in an Italian city. A three-course menu costs less than 10 euros, and the quality of the dishes is very good. I recommend the various types of ravioli.

31/08/2025: Patience, that's what it takes to eat at Novella: it takes patience to get there, patience to wait (dishes are made to order and not ready-made), and patience to reserve (you need to call ahead). But it's worth it. The location isn't convenient, but you can enjoy a breathtaking view and a pleasant temperature on hot days. The menu is (apparently) sparse; it's best to wait for directions from those who come to take your order, and then you discover a list of pasta dishes served with either Bolognese ragù or with mushrooms or truffles, depending on the season, and then grilled meats: from beef to pork, including the typical mutton. Perfectly cooked, tender, and flavorful. The meat and homemade pasta are the highlights. The side dishes are also excellent, with friggione and potatoes being super. The platter is also interesting. The portions are generous.

24/08/2025: In the summer, an outdoor table offers a fantastic view and allows you to savor all the dishes, from starters to main courses. I highly recommend consulting the menu, otherwise, if you order by word of mouth, you might be surprised by the bill.

27/07/2025: Siamo stati presso questo agriturismo consigliati da amici. Location bella tranquilla e panoramica, situata sui colli bolognesi. Menù fisso a 40 euro piatti della tradizione nella media. Bravi ci tornerei

19/07/2025: Menù degustazione da 40 € a dir poco ridicolo: 2 crescentine con annessi affettati imbarazzanti, un primo e 2 mini costine con 3 patate al forno. Dolce fine pasto composto da n.3 pezzettini di torta al cioccolato. La bottiglia di vino, ovviamente, già aperta, a sigillo della presa per i fondelli. Sulla via Emilia a 15 € trovate molto meglio!!! Imbarazzante. Non mi spiego come mai il posto fosse pieno.

30/03/2025: Sono stato per oltre 20 anni in vacanza in Abruzzo, quindi conosco il cibo abruzzese e posso dire che questo è il miglior ristorante tipico di Bologna senza alcun dubbio. Gli arrosticini sono perfetti, carne e cottura identici a quelli che si mangiano in Abruzzo. Verdure in padella squisite, così come le salsicce di fegato, le scrippelle 'mbusse, le pallotte cacio e ovo e praticamente tutti gli altri piatti che ho provato nelle varie volte che sono stato in questo ristorante (dolci compresi). Per me è da 10 e lode. Se volete provare la cucina abruzzese e mangiare bene, questo è il posto giusto.

26/07/2025: Disgusting pizza; we couldn't eat two Margheritas and a buffalo mozzarella. The buffalo mozzarella was clearly expired, sour, and rubbery. We called the restaurant to clarify the mozzarella issue, and they couldn't find an excuse. Highly not recommended; don't order it.

14/06/2025: Posto molto pulito e frequentato anche da cinesi. Come spesso mi accade è molto più buono il cibo cinese rispetto al giapponese. Prezzi nella media. Nei weekend è meglio prenotare.

09/05/2025: I like to have lunch in this place, it's very quiet and then relax after a morning of work. Great food, not heavy. And all staff always very kind and polite. My favorite? Lemon shrimp, delicious!!!

13/04/2025: DO NOT CELEBRATE BIRTHDAYS/EVENTS, We are bordering on a scam. Let me start by saying that the guys who work in that place are wonderful and kind. Unfortunately the management of the place is something scandalous. Given the price paid (35 euros for half a starter each and a first/second course that is necessarily the same for everyone and chosen days in advance) we expected great quality but we only got a great fuck. Absolutely nothing lived up to expectations. Poor food and questionable quality. Let's not talk about wine, it tasted like vinegar. But okay, we're nice guys and we still had a nice evening, but that place needs to be cancelled. Scandalous, shameful

21/06/2025: New management and it shows. The average beer cost a previous customer 3.5 to me 5. The toast made with fake pre-cut cold cuts from discount stores, note that I asked if there was something with the raw meat and they told me there wasn't, 15 minutes later I saw him slice it and I ate the artificial cooked meat. The final icing obviously ATM out of order. Terrible experience

20/06/2025: A steal! New management really bad and expensive. For a medium beer and a toast with cooked ham of very low quality I spent 10€.

06/02/2025: I booked for the first time with TheFork, I received the booking confirmation for lunch the next day via email, we arrived and found the place closed with a note that they were closed for family reasons. I booked again with TheFork, this time it was open but at the time of payment they didn't know what to do with the TheFork voucher (it was written on the site that they accepted it), moral of the story, no voucher and we paid. I booked yesterday for lunch today, I received the confirmation via email but.....just before lunch the email canceling the reservation arrived and the place was closed. It can happen once but I would say it's too much.

31/07/2025: We stayed at the Aemelia Hotel last week (July 21 to 27) so it was natural to try their restaurant. The staff were lovely, and the atmosphere was quite nice and subdued. Unfortunately, the food was a disappointment. One night we each had the veal: it was overdone, dry, and tough. I could not finish mine. The second night (we were just so tired our last night in town that we caved and went again), we shared the beef carpaccio and then each had a primi piatti. The carpaccio with senape sauce was perfection (so the 3 stars). My husband had the bolognese tagliatelle and I had the lasagna. The bolognese did not have the depth of flavor that we've come to expect. The lasagna was pretty bad. I think it had been prepared and stored for maybe a week prior to when they portioned off some for me and re-heated it. I cannot recommend them if you are looking for an elevated experience in dining.
