01/01/2026: We went there for lunch today, New Year's Day. Everything was amazing, the pappardelle with wild boar ragù was delicious, the meat dishes were excellent, and the mixed buffet was full of vegetables, cured meats, and more. The crescentine were delicious. The staff were super friendly, the place was welcoming and warm. I highly recommend it!

22/05/2026: In Trastevere, there are still places resisting the neighborhood's transformation into a giant film set for tourists hungry for photogenic carbonara. Osteria Martino is one of them. Here, you can eat truly Roman food, without the assembly-line effect that now dominates many restaurants in the area. The difference lies in the quality of the ingredients, a cuisine that doesn't seem designed for TikTok, and above all, the crowd: at the tables, you'll still find Romans and Trasteverians, not just suitcases and endless lines of tourists. And that's already a significant sign. In a neighborhood where many places focus more on quantity than quality, Martino maintains the atmosphere of a true contemporary osteria: welcoming, lively, without becoming a folkloristic caricature. And let's be clear: you're unlikely to see a Trasteverian dining at Tonnarello every week. Too often, the line outside matters more than what arrives on your plate. At Martino, however, you still experience that modicum of authenticity that is becoming a rare commodity in Trastevere.

I celebrated my partner's birthday for lunch yesterday at "Ristorante Da Martino," and it was our first time there, but it certainly won't be our last. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would without hesitation! 🌿 The atmosphere and the welcome From the moment we walked in, we were enveloped in 360-degree attention. They reserved a table for us in the garden, set up with rare care and taste: every detail was in the right place. The setting is refined, elegant, and impeccably clean, which makes the experience even more enjoyable. 🍽️ The Food Moving on to the cuisine: simply sublime. Excellent dishes, top-quality ingredients, and exquisite preparations that delight the palate. You can sense the passion in every single course. ❤️ The "magic touch": Mrs. Patty The real added value, however, was Mrs. Patty. Calling her a hostess would be an understatement: she's a wonderful woman, gifted with uncommon empathy and kindness. She was my perfect "accomplice," helping me to perfectly execute all the surprises I had planned for my partner. Without her support and availability, it wouldn't have been the same. 06/05/2026: We had lunch with friends and all ate daily specials prepared with locally sourced ingredients. Everything was homemade, including the cheeses and cured meats. The first courses were excellent and top-quality. The dessert was also fantastic, with mascarpone for the tiramisu made to order. Highly recommended.

19/05/2026: Typical trattoria very pleasant in the decor with kind and fast staff (the place was full and we waited just enough) excellent food I particularly appreciated the first courses the bowl for the wine is worthy of note our compliments we will definitely return when we are in the Piacenza area

11/05/2026: The staff is knowledgeable and extremely friendly. The food is reminiscent of the old Piacenza taverns, with a focus on local ingredients. We ate very well. The bill was reasonable. I had the best Ganassino I've had in years. We'll definitely be back.

24/05/2026: Welcoming place, not very large so not chaotic, the dishes from the starter to the side dish are exceptional, elaborate but not too much, the sommelier recommends a matching wine based on the dishes you have ordered, medium-high prices and in any case I recommend it to anyone who wants to eat fish a little different from the usual restaurants

I've never eaten fish like this, and the atmosphere is calm, serene, and welcoming, and the staff is incredibly kind and welcoming. The best thing I've eaten at this restaurant are the tuna meatballs they give out as a gift from the kitchen at the beginning. ☺️☺️☺️

02/06/2026: Worth it, truly worth it. In the village of Monteveglio Abbey, this historic trattoria is a gem not to be missed. Everything revolves around the high-quality ingredients, mostly locally sourced. In my experience, there are very few trattorias that offer such high-quality local cuisine.

26/04/2026: This mid-range/upscale restaurant is highly recommended; the clever pairings and sophisticated dishes (not necessarily traditional) make it a more than worthy choice for an evening of good food (the picanha is fabulous, and the buffalo mozzarella ravioli are also excellent). The portions aren't large, but they're just right, and the welcome is very welcome. Attentive and punctual service, reasonable wait times, and the atmosphere inside the restaurant is very refined and stylish. The prices aren't cheap, but they're in line with the quality. Congratulations, a real pass!

22/05/2026: On the last stop of our visit to the metaphysical city, we stumbled upon this pizzeria and, lured by the aroma of pizza wafting around, we stopped to eat in the open space beneath the portico of Piazza della Repubblica. Excellent pizza, truly friendly service. Highly recommended if you're in Tresigallo.
