We had lunch with friends and all ate daily specials prepared with locally sourced ingredients. Everything was homemade, including the cheeses and cured meats. The first courses were excellent and top-quality. The dessert was also fantastic, with mascarpone for the tiramisu made to order. Highly recommended.

We stopped one night while hiking the BoM Art Trail. There's not much to add to the already many positive reviews: a warm welcome, and excellent food (both dinner and the super-abundant breakfast).

Staying at the Cartiera dei Benandanti is a unique experience. The food is exceptionally high quality, the guests are consistently warm and courteous, and the location is surrounded by woods.

A beautiful B&B in the Bologna hills, surrounded by nature. The owner is incredibly helpful, and I had the best plum jam in the world! Homemade, of course. Excellent breakfast.
