01/12/2025: Years ago, my partner and I used to go occasionally, while my parents went often. It was their go-to place because the food was really good. Now I don't know... Ever since one summer evening, my parents, aged 72 and 80 (especially my mother), were literally insulted by the owners' son (the waiter) in front of everyone, simply because she hadn't realized that that evening you only paid directly to the waiter. After waiting 20 minutes at the cash register, she asked, "Are you not paying tonight?" She was insulted for no reason and, above all, in a truly unprofessional manner. We've closed down since then! Never again! I'm giving it one star because otherwise I wouldn't be able to write a review; it would be 0 stars.

10/12/2025: It would have been 6 stars if possible. Excellent bread, tasty meat, balanced flavors and adequate portions, cheerful, fast and helpful staff, beautiful location and warm owner, highly recommended. The "Italian Burger" sandwich and the homemade mascarpone dessert are highly recommended. It's also a great place for families, with a play area for children.

08/12/2025: I went there with friends after an evening of beach tennis at the adjacent establishment. Excellent burger, nice girl serving us, but... €23.50 for: a burger with fries (€17), a medium Coke (€4.50), cover charge (€2 for eating on a paper placemat without cutlery, on a veranda with a mushroom). Okay, I chose the most expensive burger on the menu, but still, for a slightly "garnished" burger, it starts at €13-14. €15 for 1.5 hours of beach tennis €23.50 for a burger eaten in 20 minutes Less gourmet, more substance! Our paychecks are anything but gourmet!...

04/11/2025: The Manager was fantastic. Our kids are 3y and 1y old and we were there quite late at around 7pm. He was very patient. He brought some colour pens and papers for the kids to keep them happy and made space on our table for some of our toys. We ordered our food and he said they will prepare the food for the kids first and once they are ready, they will start with ours so that we have some time to feed pur kids first. That was not only nice but also very caring. The food quality was very good, the portions were great and filled us pretty well and also the desert was absolutely awesome. Normally people want to sell as much as possible but the manager was different. When we ordered desert, he recommended to order one first because it might be too much and once we think we can make the second it won‘t take long. Bur also all other staff was vedy friendly and helpful. I don‘t know many places where people are so passionate in their job. Absolutely recommendable.

11/10/2025: So much love! So much passion! And so much dedication, it shows in Chef Isa Mazzocchi's dishes. La Palta Restaurant offers impeccable yet discreet service in a grand, atmospheric dining room. The soft lighting, classy music, and Monica's attentive service make you feel special. I still think with wonder and delight today about the flavors, colors, and combinations of ingredients in the dishes served.

23/11/2025: Sunday lunch with friends, we ate very well, fresh fish, normal portions and very professional and kind service, good choice of wines, fair price

14/12/2025: A truly beautifully decorated restaurant, with a varied menu and good food quality. Not to mention the pizzas, which are truly delicious and you can choose between low, medium, or high crust, and in a variety of flavors! A special thanks to the guys who work there, who are truly friendly, professional, and pleasant. 5 stars, well deserved!

05/11/2025: A well-preserved and charming castle located a short distance from Piacenza, with 15th-century towers, a large internal courtyard with pleasant green spaces, and a perimeter moat. It often hosts events, including the interesting Fair of Ancient Fruits and Flowers, featuring displays of artisanal food and textiles. The only complaint is the restrooms, consisting of unhygienic cubicles that are inadequate for the high number of people attending the various events.

03/11/2025: I went for a fair and it was pleasant to walk around the large space around the castle. The whole thing is very characteristic.

25/10/2025: We discovered this place by chance, and finding it made our evening even more enjoyable...from the atmosphere, the fantastic staff, to the star of the show...the piada, spectacular!! I highly recommend it to anyone.

18/12/2025: I ate pulpo. Relatively small portion but very well done. And then I ate calamari al carbonara, something exceptional. Authentic taste of Modena style carbonara pasta but cooked with great care and in the pasta sauce was slow cooked calamari. Congratulations to the chef.
