Cremeria Cavour In Bologna

One of the best ice cream I have ever tried.

ok so I gave it 5 stars due to no complaints but you'd have to be a gelato genius to declare this as THE BEST. We've been enjoying 2 gelatos a day for most of the 2 weeks in Italy and honestly I have no idea which was the best. But this place was certainly great. It was a very long wait and the wait was worth it only because walking to the alternative "the best gelato ever" location would have resulted in a long line up after a long walk so it was worth it just because there was no point in doing anything else. here is what you'll love about this place: The long list of flavour choices The interesting flavour combinations The service The generous servings albeit with great variance from one customer to another Here is what you won't love; the long line up the pressure and expectation to NOT ask for test tasting because of the long line up i will subjectively add - some of the places we went to had weird flavour combinations but the taste was still divine..... the one weird flavour combo that i tried still tasted weird.

One of the best ice creams I've ever tasted!! Intense and natural flavors, I recommend it. The queue was long but it was worth the wait.

A must-try gelato shop if traveling to Bologna! Our early afternoon queue only took 5-minutes before we ordered our gelato. Everything we ordered was delicious! We’re heading back today for more!

Ice cream shop under Lucio Dalla's house in what was his Piazza Grande, in the Cavour gardens. The ice cream was excellent, I recommend the pine nut cream which really convinced me. They say it is one of the best ice cream shops in Bologna, we were passing through but surely if we return we will come back here to enjoy a good ice cream alongside Lucio dalla.

The best ice cream parlor in Bologna, it had been recommended to us a lot and the truth is that with good reason. We had to wait in line but it was worth it, the ice creams were very creamy, we tried the chocolate one and the pistachio one, they are served with cream. The medium tub was worth €3.80

We recently spent a few days in Bologna and enjoyed visiting several very good gelato shops including Cremeria Cavour at Piazza Cavour. Opening hours are 12pm to late (weekdays) and 11am to late (Sundays). They have some indoor space to enjoy gelatos or you can take-away and enjoy while exploring the city. Cremeria Cavour offers a nice range of classic, fruit and vegan flavours. They have some special flavour creations as well. During our visit, we stuck with three classics, chocolate, coffee and pistachio. Texture was very good and each flavour tasted great. We really enjoyed what was served and would be eager to return and try other gelato flavours next time around.
