I returned to Bologna for a ceremony, and before catching the train home, I couldn't miss their legendary panino. They bake the bread and then fill it with your choice of ingredients. Stop by if you're passing through Bologna. Quality ingredients and excellent service. The staff are incredibly kind.

Do believe the hype. This is unhealthy soul food, packed with fresh flavors. The porchetta was outstanding. Don't expect to get a snack here - those filled breads are absolute units, weighing over a pound. Also don't expect to eat this while walking; if you tried, your clothes would be drenched in sauce and fat.

Truly fantastic place, even though it's small, as soon as you walk in it's an incredible experience. Excellent and welcoming service. Excellent quality with freshly baked focaccias and quality ingredients. The price-to-food ratio is excellent. For just a few euros, you get a giant focaccia. Everything was delicious, and I would gladly return if I ever get back to Bologna.
