28/11/2024: It is always a pleasure to taste the delicious dishes of the La Rupe Restaurant. Marco is a master in the kitchen, beyond the famous handmade "fregnacce", he also creates new dishes with local products. His sister Roberta supports him in preparing the first courses and side dishes. Excellent grilled meat. The service is impeccable. Don't forget the desserts, also homemade. All you have to do is try it. I forgot, good prices for the quality of the food.

04/12/2024: Huge and excellent quality ravioli, luckily the boy who came to order told us to take half a portion. Cozy and well looked after place. I will definitely be back, in fact we have already booked for March. I highly recommend it

03/11/2024: We stayed in the mini suite. Two spacious and clean rooms, two tastefully renovated bathrooms and a huge terrace. The breakfast was more than satisfactory. We also made use of the excellent restaurant. If I were to return to Castel del Monte I would return here without hesitation!

For the service they were exceptional.
Excellent food, their strong point is the first courses, the pasta is made by them at the moment and is very good, taking nothing away from the rest, delicious appetizer and desserts.
05/12/2024: Intimate place where they treated us very well and above all where the food was good. If you love gorgonzola this is the right place. I recommend the Paolino starter to start the meal.

09/12/2024: This review is long overdue. We found this hidden gem on our last trip to Prata in July. Incredible local place with outstanding food and the ambience was incredible as well was the views from the upstairs dining area. Everything about the meal was spectacular. A must visit spot for anyone in the area. Grazie Mille! Bravo!!!
02/12/2024: Crazy location, very friendly service, good food.... Prices a little too high, 1 starter 1 first course 1 second course water and half wine all divided 2...
60 euros..... Half a liter of wine €7 perhaps a little exaggerated... But I will gladly return

01/11/2024: What a special day at Cantina Margiotta. We were so lucky to get a vineyard tour with the beautiful mountains in the background and tasting with Francesca. She encouraged us to eat the grapes off the vine, what a treat! She is a fifth generation winemaker, and taught us so much about her vineyard. We enjoyed the Red, White and Pecorino wines along with the local cheeses and salami. Thank you, Francesca. We truly feel we have a friend in Abruzzo.

08/12/2024: Not up to the previous times. Charred pizza, I point out to the waiter that the pizza is inedible, he asks me if he has to make it again? I reply that it wasn't even to be presented to the table... the drink comes after the pizzas... then nothing else, no one takes away the dirty dishes and much less do they ask if we want anything else... it's a shame we always ate good pizzas and were treated better... not even a word when paying the bill: sorry for the mix-up (which can also happen) Best regards

25/08/2024: Wonderful farmhouse in the heart of Marsica. We had lunch with a mixed platter and incredible (artisanal) kebabs. Top service, kind and friendly.
Exceptional raw material quality!
We will return to stay in the chalets too.
