08/11/2025: Great experience! Exceptional food and a lovely place. They have a terrace for aperitifs/drinks and an indoor dining room. We've been here three times because we loved it. I especially recommend their special appetizer, all the desserts, the first courses (my favorites are the chef's ravioli and nettle gnocchi), and for the second course, the sweet and sour suckling pig and the lamb with cacio e limone! P.S. On a special note, they have Gaza Cola, one of the few restaurants where we've found it, and we couldn't be happier!

13/09/2025: If you come to Castel di Sangro, you absolutely have to stop and eat here. A very well-kept restaurant, with attentive and fast staff, and excellent food. Excellent value. My partner and I (we're parents, so we came with our young daughter) split a €24 appetizer and then ordered two first courses. My pappardelle with porcini mushrooms were spectacular. Finally, a lemon sorbet to refresh the palate. A highly recommended place for new parents. The bathroom also has a changing table for emergencies.

18/10/2025: We had lunch here after visiting the Stiffe Caves. The food was excellent (both appetizers and main courses), but I also want to emphasize the kindness of the service, and more! The waiter even followed us out to give us something we'd forgotten! I highly recommend it!

The dishes are good and typical of Abruzzo, but for my tastes, after fifteen years of traveling around Abruzzo, they didn't particularly impress me. The entrees are average, and the first courses are limited. The appetizer of cured meats and cheeses with toasted bread drizzled with good olive oil is excellent. Prices are average. The quality and flavors are good. Friendly staff.

Carmine and the rest of the team are extremely attentive, quick, and convenient—a rarity in these mountain villages. I always love coming back. There's a convenient outdoor area for those with children or who want to enjoy lunch in the sun.

02/11/2025: Excellent service, a really cute place, plenty of space for kids, and it feels very much like a real cabin. The staff is incredibly friendly. The food was delicious; we had bruschetta with salsa for an appetizer and a potato rosti, followed by tagliatelle with game for the main course (depending on the day). If you get the chance, the wild boar is exceptional. I highly recommend it.
