04/05/2026: Sunday lunch. The place is packed, but they suggest we eat in an alley next to the restaurant, well-sheltered from the sun and city traffic (which is still limited in the historic center). The menu offers local dishes (and plenty of pizzas and pinsas in the evening). The appetizers are excellent and plentiful, even for four people. The first courses are tasty (I was expecting a wild boar ragù in white sauce, but it's still good). The arrosticini are excellent (including the liver ones). Prices are fair. Service is perhaps a little slow (due to the large number of tables), but it's absolutely friendly and attentive. We'll definitely return, especially for its location, just steps from the city's main square.

The atmosphere was welcoming and clean, the girls who served us were very kind and helpful, and what can I say about the lunch... it exceeded our expectations.
Deservedly worth it ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The service was good, though I don't know when there are a lot of people.
The food was good, especially the cheese and egg balls and the guinea fowl tagliatelle, which didn't detract from the roast.
I think I'll be back in good company.

I tried the pan pizza, which was very good, both for the quality of the dough and the ingredients. I'm curious to try the first courses, which looked inviting; I'll be back.

03/07/2026: We had dinner on a Thursday evening after visiting the wonderful town of Scanno. I found the lady who served us, who I believe was a cousin, to be truly kind and warm in explaining the dishes and their ingredients. The first courses were truly tasty and plentiful, and the meatballs with cheese and egg were delicious—you absolutely must mop them up with bread. The Montepulciano she recommended was also good. Excellent value. But the lady made the difference. If you're passing through, stop by. You'll immediately feel at home. Highly recommended.
