07/04/2026: We spent the night between Easter and Easter Monday at this hotel. The welcome was warm and welcoming. The chef immediately came to talk to my wife, who has gluten and lactose intolerance, and immediately proposed a menu similar to ours, but tailored for her. I must say, it was truly delicious.
Clean room and amazing breakfast.
Excellent location for visiting Camoscio, Valfondillo, the "fantastic" Opi, Pescasseroli (a true gem), and so much more.

02/05/2026: Everything was excellent: homemade food, very good, generous portions, excellent house wine. The place is clean, the service was punctual and attentive, despite being full for May 1st. I have to be honest, I didn't have high expectations, but it was actually a very pleasant discovery; we'll definitely be back. Finally, the bill was very fair.
25/04/2026: We were on vacation and found this place almost by accident. A place from another era, with excellent food and a friendly welcome. The typical Abruzzo dishes are delicious, and the bill is fair.
Let's hope it stays that way.

29/04/2026: Second visit to this restaurant and... It confirmed, if not surpassed, the positive impression of our previous visit. We ordered full menus at Zafferano and were thoroughly satisfied with both the quality of the dishes and the courtesy and attentiveness of the service. A special mention goes to the saffron cream.
26/04/2026: Found it by chance with the idea of visiting Navelli... we went in close to lunchtime and were amazed by the hospitality, the atmosphere, and especially the quality of the food...from appetizers to dessert...thank you, thank you... Well done...keep it up!!!!! Excellent!!!...we'll definitely be back.

31/03/2026: If you're passing through Scanno, this cabin is a must-see! 🌲 Beautiful location, all in wood, it feels like you're in a fairytale. Excellent food with an unbeatable quality-price ratio. Super friendly staff who make you feel at home. Plus, we found it open even though it was Tuesday and almost everything in the area was closed! Five well-deserved stars!

05/05/2026: I visited this excellent pastry shop for breakfast.
The cream pastries are highly recommended, as are all the desserts.
In the evening, until 10 pm, the alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks are excellent for an aperitif in the adjacent room.

03/05/2026: There are two restaurants in this small town: both are good, although I personally prefer the other. The food is very similar, however.
A couple of things could be improved: there's no draft beer, and when I ordered "French fries* or baked potatoes," I received chips. It would have been better to specify this when ordering.
Overall, a good experience.
04/04/2026: This small restaurant in the center of town deserves an excellent rating. We were satisfied with both the quality of the food and the attentive service provided by Mattia.

09/02/2026: Pity we only discovered this restaurant on our last night at l'Aquila. We shared a lovely starter, then had the most exquisite pizza and pinsa ever! A gem of a restaurant offering an extensive menu, not just pizza. Other dishes seemed delicious too! And all at very affordable prices. Very friendly staff and efficient service. Complimenti Nonna Cristina!!
25/01/2026: We entered a little pre-emptively, but we left very satisfied. The wait times were proportionate to the freshness of the dishes. We tried three different starters, each better than the last. But a top score definitely goes to the pecorino carpaccio, which I ordered as a main course, but could easily have been a standalone dish due to the generous portion. Kudos to the entire staff.

I tried the pan pizza, which was very good, both for the quality of the dough and the ingredients. I'm curious to try the first courses, which looked inviting; I'll be back.

20/03/2026: Really lovely restaurant! The owners were so warm and welcoming. The food was delicious, highlights were the freshly made warm bread, fettuccine porcini, arrosto misto (with delicious arrosticini!), verdure contorni which was fresh chicory, and finishing off with homemade tiramisu. Having no formal menu was a fun experience and special way to connect with the owner! For those driving, their onsite parking lot made it stress-free to visit, too. Delicious food and amazing hospitality makes this a must-visit every time in the region!

We spent the holiday here. The food was excellent and plentiful, the owner was extremely helpful and kind, and the staff was professional, albeit young! An experience we'd definitely repeat!
21/04/2026: I've eaten here a couple of times over the years, and I have to say it's consistently good. The quality is excellent, as is the availability.
Reservations are recommended, of course, and well in advance, otherwise there's almost certainly no room.
