Very welcoming and friendly staff, excellent traditional Abruzzo cuisine: I had the fettuccine with lamb sauce, the grilled lamb and potatoes al coppo, and I must say they were all remarkable. I will definitely be back.

Restaurant in the wonderful village of Castel del Monte at the foot of the Gran Sasso Welcoming and familiar, but very attentive, with very friendly staff and excellent dishes in keeping with Abruzzo tradition. Try it and believe it. We'll be back.

We stayed one night at the inn and had dinner at their restaurant. - Excellent location - Comfortable rooms - A huge round of applause for the restaurant. We ate very well, everything was delicious, and the setting is beautifully decorated with antique tools decorating the walls... beautiful, and it's fair to say we were very satisfied with the price we paid (there were 2 of us). Thank you.

A very typical little restaurant in the Castel del Monte area. We only had appetizers and main courses because the first courses weren't available. The dishes were basic, like those of an osteria, and very good.

19/04/2026: Brunch at Anima. Delicious. Ristorante AnimA elevated local ingredients to an entirely new level. One reason we love Abruzzo and its amazing cuisine, from simple farms to talented Chefs, it’s always original in a traditional approach.
11/03/2026: Ristorante AnimA is a phenomenal foodie experience. The beautiful, intimate setting in a 17th century palazzo, elegant decor and white tablecloths are just an introduction to the excellent service from the proprietor whose chef has put together a truly interesting and delicious menu. Each 4-course "tasting menu" is perfectly curated to create an explosion of flavors in your mouth. Plus the owner brought out a couple of dishes for us to try on the house. All this for €45 per person - very reasonable. Paired with locally sourced Montepulciano d'Abruzzo, our meal was a feast for the senses and a delight for the soul. Grazie mille! We will see you again soon.

06/04/2026: Very nice restaurant, we had dinner there but it's also ideal for an aperitif, worth trying!
29/01/2026: Excellent value for money, very clean environment, and very kind owners. I personally witnessed an argument with a customer, and the owner was incredibly patient and kind, always smiling and very polite in his responses.
