21/03/2026: For a round of the Italian Enduro Championship, I stopped at this hotel for both the night and dinner. I have to say that looking at it from the outside, both because of its location and the surrounding buildings, I wasn't thrilled, but I hadn't booked it. So I walked in, and I have to say, right from the reception, I began to change my mind. The staff were friendly, welcoming, the furnishings simple but well-appointed, and the cleanliness was evident. The room was beautiful and very spacious, with fresh, timeless furnishings, and it was immediately apparent that it was immaculately clean. I went down to the restaurant, and here I said to myself, "Never let appearances fool you." It's truly beautiful, with beautiful, high wooden ceilings, well-set tables, and above all, kind, smiling, and competent service. I'll save dinner for last, which I have to say was the icing on the cake. Everything was well-made and of excellent quality. What can I say? I recommend it, and if I'm in the area again, I'll be back.

18/03/2026: Dad Claudio (known as Lallo) is an extremely kind and friendly person. He engages in a courteous and discreet conversation with his guests. From our point of view, it's not just formality or work-related reasons, but rather a genuinely cordial attitude. He doesn't treat you just as a "customer," but as someone to be put at ease. He makes you feel like part of the family. And I'd say that given our hectic lifestyle, with human relationships reduced to a minimum, this kind of behavior is good for both the individual and the heart, especially when, even on a pleasure trip, you're far from home and your loved ones. That said, after our first stay at the Hotel Le Sequoie, we had an excellent time and, as a logical consequence, we've stayed at least five more times... and they won't be the last, at least in the winter. Although, to be honest, the two pools are tempting us for when the warmer weather arrives. A truly unique experience, having stayed at many hotels in Italy (sometimes very renowned), thus having a very valid and reliable basis for comparison. We once again extend our heartfelt thanks to Emiliano, Silvia, and their father Claudio (known as Lallo) for all they do with professionalism and love. Nunzia and Massimo.

07/04/2026: We came here on Easter Monday and were really satisfied. Everything was delicious, from the starters to the main courses, with quality ingredients and well-prepared dishes. The portions are generous and the value is excellent. The service is friendly and the atmosphere is welcoming.

28/12/2025: Truly a delightful place, a tiny restaurant in the village of Pietrasecca, near Carsoli. Authentic cuisine from days gone by. Super friendly welcome, everything strictly homemade with locally sourced ingredients.

17/03/2026: A very serious and completely unacceptable experience. We chose this restaurant for a celebratory lunch precisely because of its children's area, which should be a safe space. In reality, it turned out to be exactly the opposite. The owner's dog was let loose in the playground and attacked a 3-year-old boy, biting him on the leg and leaving a clear bite mark. It also stole one of his shoes. The child was terrified by the incident. Immediately afterward, the same dog also attacked an 8-year-old girl, scaring her to death. The children present were shocked and frightened. Even more serious was the owner's behavior: no apology, no serious intervention, and the dog was left loose in the playground even after the incident, as if nothing had happened, despite the presence of many other children. Even more absurd is that my brother was not allowed to bring his own dogs, while the owner's dog was allowed to roam freely in the children's playground. To make matters worse, a table near ours reported that a similar incident had occurred the previous week. This suggests that this is not an isolated incident, but rather a case of grossly irresponsible safety management. Leaving a dog loose in a children's play area, especially after such incidents, is extremely dangerous and demonstrates a complete lack of responsibility. I strongly advise against this place for anyone with children.

21/12/2025: The view is enchanting and the typical Abruzzo cuisine is very good.

11/05/2026: Unfortunately, I've never had the opportunity to eat there, even though I park in front of it almost every day. The food seems good, the service fast, and the prices fair. However, drivers and truckers exit the A24 at the Carsoli toll booth, and just a few meters away they find gas stations with affordable fuel and a large truck parking lot at this restaurant, adjacent to the toll booth. They eat much better there than at a service station, and they spend much less.

01/05/2026: The food is really good. The atmosphere is rustic and charming. Many of the products are local. The meat is fantastic.

01/05/2026: We're not there yet. We chose the restaurant because of the excellent reviews, but maybe today wasn't the right day! The service was very slow: we waited about an hour for three main courses. The pork with potatoes was excessively salty, almost inedible, and the portion was also very small (about 80g of meat and half a potato). The same goes for the beef with vegetables. For the price, we weren't expecting portions like that. A bit of rudeness at checkout because we couldn't split the bill. What a shame, but I don't know if we'll give it a second chance!

01/04/2026: I ate at the Angeletta restaurant on the occasion of a birthday party. The fried suppli, potato croquettes, courgette flowers, bruschetta with cherry tomatoes, with mushrooms and the pizzas were all good. Unfortunately, the restaurant has fallen a bit behind in terms of age.

13/04/2026: Average food and Michelin-starred restaurant prices: almost eighty euros for 12 slices of bread—6 with oil, 3 with truffle (from a jar, nothing fancy), and 3 with mushrooms—marked on the bill as six plates of mixed bruschetta at 13 euros per plate. It all started with the waiter saying, "For the appetizer, I'll make a mix of bruschetta and cured meats." The cured meats were also completely average and overpriced, but definitely not as good as the bruschetta. First and second courses were average. It was a special evening, and I didn't feel like arguing with the bill, but that was absolutely inappropriate behavior.
