A small, dated trattoria located outside the walls of a virtually uninhabited village.
The selection isn't very varied, but the owner, who is a real character, guides you expertly. The generous appetizer is enough.
I've had the best arrosticini in the area here.

Excellent food, a welcoming atmosphere, and a wonderful atmosphere!
The price?! For what we ate, it's even reasonable.

30/03/2026: Great restaurant, here you will find many local delicacies, I highly recommend trying one of the dishes which include cod. Good friendly service and excellent food, looking forward to the next visit.
12/03/2026: A good hotel-restaurant on Highway 17 near Barisciano offering good value. The rooms were basic, but had everything you could need, and the cleanliness was top-notch. Recommended for visiting the tourist attractions in Abruzzo.

05/03/2026: Always a guarantee. Obelix-sized portions and exceptional quality. At lunchtime during the week, you might be lucky to find a table. On weekends, you have to book, with waits lasting almost three months. This proves the 5-star rating is real.

Mario, a special person with a sublime culture, clearly shows that everything he prepares is made with knowledge, experience, and love. The pizza also deserves a special mention: wow. Despite being in a small village, it's always a pleasure to stop by. Highly recommended!

27/01/2026: A historic bar in the heart of L'Aquila, in an Art Nouveau style. I went there with my mom and husband and we drank excellent nougat coffees. The desserts were spectacular and delicious. The bar is a gem, clean and tidy. The staff were extremely friendly.
I highly recommend it if you're in L'Aquila.
25/01/2026: One of my favorite bars in L'Aquila. The staff is friendly and welcoming. The place is gorgeous. It offers specialty sweets and chocolates from L'Aquila. Considering the location and quality, the prices are quite reasonable.

17/02/2026: I had dinner last night with friends and family. The welcome was very friendly, and the food was also good. However, when we finally got the bill, we had a few surprises with the prices, including extras like an appetizer for five people, which was charged for seven, and a bottle of wine that shouldn't have been included, or rather, offered, but was instead paid for. A very unique place.
