28/02/2026: I completely agree with everything I've read in other reviews. A small, dated trattoria located outside the walls of a virtually uninhabited village. The selection isn't very varied, but the owner, who is a real character, guides you expertly. The generous appetizer is enough. I've had the best arrosticini in the area here.

23/02/2026: More than a restaurant, it's a home...and Franco, the true master, welcomes you like family! Excellent food, a welcoming atmosphere, and a wonderful atmosphere! The price?! For what we ate, it's even reasonable. I'll be back soon! Always call to reserve!

22/02/2026: A place close to my heart... Abruzzo feels like home to me. This little hotel is delightful, and the food is excellent, even for outside guests.

29/01/2026: I was a guest for work. If I ever come to L'Aquila for a vacation, I'll definitely stay at this family-run, yet truly professionally managed hotel. The food was delicious, with a freshly baked croissant for breakfast, just the way I like it. The staff were helpful and attentive to their guests' habits. They noticed I was carefully avoiding tomatoes and dairy products and offered suitable options without a word. I thanked them and explained my slight intolerances. The RESTAURANT/PIZZERIA is spacious and attractive, with rooms that sleep three, and tidy and comfortable bathrooms. But above all these aesthetic features, I have to give it a sixth star for the cleanliness of all the rooms. Finally, there's ample parking with a large solar shelter that can accommodate five or six vans or trucks.

05/03/2026: Always a guarantee. Obelix-sized portions and exceptional quality. At lunchtime during the week, you might be lucky to find a table. On weekends, you have to book, with waits lasting almost three months. This proves the 5-star rating is real.

20/02/2026: Good and plentiful food. The atmosphere is typical of a historic building (antique rustic style). A little difficult to find (you have to set your GPS to the village post office and then walk into the village from there).

27/01/2026: A historic bar in the heart of L'Aquila, in an Art Nouveau style. I went there with my mom and husband and we drank excellent nougat coffees. The desserts were spectacular and delicious. The bar is a gem, clean and tidy. The staff were extremely friendly. I highly recommend it if you're in L'Aquila.

25/01/2026: One of my favorite bars in L'Aquila. The staff is friendly and welcoming. The place is gorgeous. It offers specialty sweets and chocolates from L'Aquila. Considering the location and quality, the prices are quite reasonable.

09/01/2026: The dining room is very welcoming and meticulously decorated. The staff is distinguished by their kindness, professionalism, and hospitality. We ordered: breaded and fried primo sale cheese sticks, very good and not greasy; cheese and egg balls, delicious; ravioli, a first course, good but not exceptional; and meat arrosticini, good. A 37.5cl bottle of rosé wine and two tiramisu dishes, one classic, not very moist in my opinion, and one pistachio, very good. The bill was €80 for two, which I think is fair, considering it's located in a touristy area.

17/02/2026: I had dinner last night with friends and family. The welcome was very friendly, and the food was also good. However, when we finally got the bill, we had a few surprises with the prices, including extras like an appetizer for five people, which was charged for seven, and a bottle of wine that shouldn't have been included, or rather, offered, but was instead paid for. A very unique place.

04/01/2026: Not just an EXCELLENT RESTAURANT, but a wonderful life and culinary experience. They grow saffron, offer excellent tips for local visits, and delicious dishes. I didn't manage to take photos. I ate with my eyes first, and then with my taste buds. We will definitely return to Abruzzo, and definitely to this restaurant. The staff is hospitable and friendly.

04/01/2026: Wonderful agriturismo in every way! The food is excellent, everything prepared with care and authentic flavors. The owner is extremely kind and makes you feel right at home. I highly recommend this place!
