09/08/2026: We had lunch here on a Monday in August, intrigued by the advert on a popular TV show! We ordered two appetizers: a crostone with marcetto and a frisella with vegetables. Among the first courses were pallotte cac' e ove qui, and gnocchi with saffron and sheep's milk ricotta. For the main course, a scamorza with prosciutto al coccio! Overall, the cuisine was neither good nor bad! The ingredients were good, but no dishes particularly stood out, especially considering we didn't order any meat! I expected something more!

11/08/2026: Found it by chance, after visiting the Sistine Chapel of Abruzzo, in Bominaco. Excellent food, friendly, helpful waiters, and eager to accommodate every need. Highly recommended.

21/07/2026: Great experience. Really good simple food, especially the pasta. Very fair prices. The servers were so kind despite our very lacking Italian skills. We’ll be back in a couple of days :)

19/07/2026: Everything is accessible for the disabled, there's a dedicated private parking lot, a clean place, friendly, helpful, and welcoming staff (the great Simona!), good-quality, excellently cooked food, and prompt, helpful service. The appetizer selection is remarkable in both quantity and flavor, along with first courses and arrosticini, dessert, coffee, and liqueurs. Excellent value for money. I recommend!

14/08/2026: Small trattoria beneath the walls of Assergi, serving Abruzzese cuisine. Excellent arrosticini and ravioli filled with ricotta and orapi (wild spinach from the mountains and plateaus of Gran Sasso). Appetizers include local and non-local cured meats. Booking a few days in advance is recommended. A must-try, especially for Franchino's friendliness. 😉

11/08/2026: A small trattoria where you can enjoy typical Abruzzo cuisine! Everything is delicious and the service is excellent! If you're passing by, you can't miss it!

13/07/2026: Saturday night family dinner with a packed house. Seeing the place was packed, we decided to skip the appetizers and order pizzas right away. As soon as we sat down, they asked us how we wanted our water. Shortly after, they took our orders, and in no time, we found ourselves with our pizzas (simply excellent!) all served at the same time. Impeccable service, and—much appreciated—always with a smile on their faces! The place is very nice and clean, and the prices are very fair (the six of us spent less than €100). If you're in the area, it's definitely worth a visit, and I'll definitely be back... soon! BRAVI, in fact, BRAVISI VERSIMI!!!

13/07/2026: The best as always. They were incredibly kind even though we booked last-minute on a Sunday at 2:00 PM. Very fast service, delicious food, always friendly staff, and generous portions. But above all, the price was very fair. I'd also like to add a special mention for the tiramisu; I haven't had one this good in years, and I'd go back for that alone! See you soon, for sure 😎

08/06/2026: I'm in Celano for health reasons. Before being hospitalized, I was curious to try some typical local products, so I searched online for a restaurant. The Locanda della Madonna delle Vigne immediately appeared. Looking at some photos, I was intrigued by the place, so I decided to book. Access to the inn is via a staircase in an alley with a breathtaking view. We were greeted by Mr. Sandro, a very helpful, empathetic, and welcoming person. Sitting at the table, we looked at the à la carte menu, choosing for one an appetizer of mutton skewers with white onion and chickpeas, to say the least 😋 delicious. Then we ordered cured meats and cheeses. I was amazed. 🤩 2 first courses: gnocchi with venison ragù, which were good, but the pappardelle with sausage, saffron, and truffle were a delight for the palate. 😍 Excellent service Beautiful serving dishes, the cheeses served with fantastic fruit pairings. He delighted us with two cheeses that unfortunately I don't remember the name of, but I will always remember the taste 😍🤩😋😋😋. All this including coffee and water, €65. Blessed are you for all the delights we received... Thank you, thank you, I will definitely be back.

15/07/2026: If you're passing through Sulmona, you absolutely must visit the museum. It feels like stepping into a 19th-century shop and retracing the history of Italian jam. The staff is extremely friendly, and you can even see the jam-packers at work. The museum is free.

29/05/2026: We were at this restaurant last night, and I'm already missing it because I wish I had the same menu again. The arrosticini were absolutely fabulous, not to mention the cod trio, generous portions for a fantastic price. Thank you, I hope to return soon.

26/05/2026: Alessandra and her family were very kind and helpful. The rooms are clean and welcoming. The property is strategically located for many excursions; we came here on a motorbike, but if we could visit those areas again (which I was pleasantly surprised by their beauty), I would return. An experience worth repeating. The cuisine is very good and generous, and they also cater to those with food intolerances. Thank you!

09/08/2026: A truly welcoming place, with always helpful and courteous staff. The highlight is undoubtedly the liver and onion arrosticini: a true specialty, a must-try for anyone who comes here! Regarding the culinary offerings, the ingredients are of unquestionable quality, but there are some details that need to be tweaked: the classic arrosticini deserve a more robust cooking to bring out their best, while the supplì and desserts seemed less focused and in need of a thorough review, as did the prices, which aren't exactly affordable for everyone. The only real criticism is the management of the dining room during peak times: a few more resources would be needed at the tables, as the wait just to order can sometimes be excessive. Overall, a good experience, with very clear room for improvement that would make the place truly excellent.

06/08/2026: I rediscovered the flavors of home here. Handmade arrosticini like in the old days, delicious cacio e ove meatballs, and a spectacular tiramisu. I'll definitely be back for the courtesy and quality of the food.

But the things that won my heart haven't changed: the quality of the food, the feeling of being at home, the traditional dishes always a trump card. And the staff is nothing short of top marks! 08/08/2026: Unfortunately, we weren't sold on the appetizer; I remember it being the restaurant's strong point. Everything else was good. We sensed some tension in the dining room between the head waiter and the rest of the staff.
