04/10/2025: I booked online the first time, and they were kind enough to send me a cancellation email and call me back personally since they were closed for lunch. The atmosphere is welcoming and clean, with qualified and friendly staff. The food is plentiful, with delicious first courses and the tagliata (beef steak) is incredibly tender. Everything is in line with the more than fair prices. I highly recommend it.

15/10/2025: We already can't wait to eat at this restaurant again! The staff and owner will welcome you wonderfully. The atmosphere is simple but very welcoming. The food is the icing on the cake: traditional yet sophisticated dishes with excellent pairings, all at fair prices. I recommend trying the Dulcis Venia dessert—we could have eaten 10 of them! We'll be back soon.

14/10/2025: I've noticed small changes to the place, improving the aesthetics. When you walk in and sit down, a journey through flavors begins, paired elegantly and never banally; everything is taken care of down to the smallest detail. I'll be back!!!!!

27/09/2025: If you're passing through Roccaraso—winter after skiing or summer after a hike in the Monte Greco woods—don't miss the opportunity to have dinner (or lunch!) at Chi Chi Bio. I stumbled upon it almost by accident and had an excellent food and wine experience. Quality food, knowledgeable staff, and a reasonable wait. I highly recommend it.

30/09/2025: We came to dinner two nights in a row at this restaurant with my partner and our two beautiful large dogs, who were pampered by all the staff... We ate very well and the prices are normal... My dogs loved it too, especially when they saw them coming out of the kitchen with some bones in their hands for them 😍☺️

Chef Alessia and her daughter managed to convey a warmth and love for simple yet refined cuisine, which they shared with us as they shared their fascinating story. 08/10/2025: I recommend fasting for a day before going to eat at their place. The portions are huge and the food is delicious. I recommend the ravioli, one of their specialties. The prices are very fair. I highly recommend going there.

07/10/2025: What you'd expect from an Abruzzo trattoria. Huge portions, bold flavors, and quality meat. Affordable prices, a good value, and now in the new location, plenty of seating, parking, and reasonable service times. Two first courses, a second course split in half, a half-liter of house wine, two side dishes, and two coffees for €51 total. Recommended for a "strong" experience. Visited September 17th.

22/09/2025: Pleasant and clean rooms. The hotel is located at the intersection of many hiking trails, making it an excellent base for walks. The staff is friendly and actively works to make your stay enjoyable.

The service is impeccable: discreet yet always present, with attentive and knowledgeable staff who recommend tasting menus and food pairings, without ever being intrusive. The carefully crafted atmosphere makes the venue ideal for a romantic dinner, a sophisticated occasion, or simply to indulge in a truly relaxing evening. We chose the seven-course tasting menu, thoughtfully structured with three appetizers, two first courses, a second course, and a dessert from the menu. The option to customize the menu with a few variations is appreciated, albeit at an additional cost, confirming the desire to satisfy even the most discerning palates. The sequence of dishes reveals a cuisine that is both modern and rooted in the region. The carpaccio is memorable, fresh and well-balanced, reflecting a commitment to the finest ingredients. The tortelli stuffed with ventricina are full of character, a dish that combines refined technique and local identity, with a rich filling balanced by balanced toppings. 12/08/2025: An elegant, modern, welcoming location. On the veranda, spectacular view of the lake, relaxing atmosphere. Attentive, fast, prepared, kind staff, impeccable service. Careful, classy plating. We tasted every single dish, well-defined and delicate flavors, the "plin" an enveloping taste. It was a beautiful experience, unique emotion, gourmet journey, very high quality in everything, to be repeated. Truly top, to be tried. Fair prices
